cool video . that's a great feeling driving your dream machine down the road. good luck with your ride. do a folow up video i woud like to see the progress on restoring on this cool ride.
haha cruising Chandler St awesome, damn i live down the street on the blvd. i drive the 1989 black/grey primer Firebird!!!! AWESOME!!!!! just freaking awesome. it is incredible feeling i bet. also i like the tac mounting :)
dam if my dad wudve kept all his birds... he had 2 68s 1 67 and 2 69s along with a few other muscles now he only has 1 68 oddly he kept the shittiest out alll five but thrs sumthing about it looking shitty, 400 4 spd posi n i own a duster ill kik his ass sumday haha
i also have a 67 when i bought it. it had a chevy 350 in it first thing first i sold the built 350 for $400.00 and put in a PONTIAC 400 with 4 speed Muncie and some other goodies i would like to trade pics and info with you all on your 67's if thats ok i might have something you need vis versa
Awesome car. Gotta love it when a project comes together! I also have a 67 and a 15 month old with another on the way. As my wife, says, "the car is paid for and not in the way, were never selling it." God I love her
nope and it probably won't be for a while since I now have a kid on the way. I'm doing body work now. Everything needed to drive the thing is done (engine, trans, suspension, brakes, etc). After the body work it'll be on to the interior.
This is an awesome inspiring video that really tugged my heartstrings....I bet you just love to smile at the dorks who see your project roll by and scoff point or laugh..what the world sees as some old junker is like a baby bird being born right out of that skinny driveway of yours taking flight down the street- or maybe its just been reincarnated instead? Its good to know theres folks out there who still love the original firebirds. So remember: "birds' the word" !!!
that smoke is actually burning transmission fluid. Took me a long time to find the problem but it was an incorrect dipstick. Whoever had the car before me put in a too-short dipstick which I assumed was correct when I bought the car. I had been overfilling it...
I like it!!!

Might wanna check out that motor. Burning oil? Lotsa smoke.
