I keep having to reactivate the software everyday, says that key is expired and I then have to regenerate a new key which works but not for very long what could be the cause of this.

Screw the patch the keygen totally works. My Bitdefender Total Security 2009 is valid for 1095 days. I used E1147C8773B263B080B7 works great.
