  • you gotta tell me where the last picture came from

I’m hardcore, you; that’s the point of petro.

I taught these lyrics for my people in the ghetto.

    I kick the flavor from night to mornin’;

Just like an alkaline I keep goin’ strong.

Another “ego” [?], just to keep flexin’.

This is like a drill, yo, when I’m testin’

My unusual styles of rap, then I fix in

A rhyme from the beginning to the middle

    Within a flash.

  • 1:51-2:15

I hate to disappoint you, but you livin’ kind of fast, so

Yo, pack your bags, kid, you gots to go

To the drawin’ board, ‘cuz I ain’t goin’ for the right stuff.

    You best to sack up, before I bring the backup;

The big shots, like that Jamaican kid they call Ross.

I can “smush brocks”[?] from my block to your block.

And with the super duper lyrics that I create,

It’s too late, for any discussions or debate.

  • 3:13-3:37

Like when I rockin’ on the microphone and start breakin’,

It was forsaken, to think that I can be taken.

‘Cuz I’m your highness, the rap finest, you can’t deny this.

Dig a little deeper, yo; I’m sure that you will find this

Style of mine, as a dope speech.

I’m intellectual, now I have to teach.

Supportin’ my territory, I call props,

And all invadin’ perpetrators, they’re gettin’ knocked.

  • 3:48-4:12

Don't get lost, just get involved with the rhythm.

The rhymes I give; a forward impact - yo brother, listen.

There's no stoppin' this style, like the apocalypse,

'Cuz '97, yo; check the way I'm droppin' this.

You must be jokin' (yeah yeah); I may be smokin'.

You can't take me out, yo; my style is doppin'.

Word up, I'll get ya wrecked like that,

'Cuz '97, yo; the Street Fighter game shit is phat.

    Vocals: Infinite (?)

  • lol, dude's nipple looks like a Hershey Kiss in 1:23

  • The drums in the second verse... :)

  • d-_-b recent fighting games......get the tune right for once!

  • Who raps this? I don't think it's Infinite

  • Hey renagade, thanks for the link but unfortunately it saids its a wrong link and wont work

  • SFIV music isn't bad, it's just different. They went for a more techno/electronic whereas SFIII really had a 'jazz'/techno vibe. I like both games music, really.

  • @GeminiAvery forgot to mention, I liked the rap they added in SFIII. But from the vibes I'm getting from the SF community, I'd be scared to add any more rap if I were Capcom(they even call Cody/Haggar's theme 'crap for no real reason!) T-T....

  • I think that the reason SFIV's music was composed the way it was is because I think they wanted to incorporate the popular music of the time. In the mid-late 90's Hip Hop was the biggest thing around so that was for the main titles, but they also incorporated drum + bass, jazz, grunge, house and far east music into different people's themes to fit their culture, at least speaking from a 3rd strike perspective. SFIV's generation has techno and "remixes" of old themes to attract the older players.

  • Techno and pop basically to attract the younger generation because apparently that disgusting filth is the biggest thing nowadays. Pretty sad if you ask me, but since SFII had such a huge following compared to III, they wanted to go back to its roots. Then since so many people wanted the Alpha and III characters back they needed to bring back some of their music as well, which they did just not so well, and most people that haven't played III wouldn't recognize how great the original music was.

  • I say though that they should have put in more time and effort into creating actual stages for each character instead of just random pieces of shit, and the soundtrack was severely lacking, especially Akuma's/Gouken's themes because they're just remixes of Ryu's crappy theme. I would much rather hear a rendition of killing moon for Akuma, good fighter for Ryu, Jazzy NYC for Ken, and I DON'T WANNA GET ON THE FUCKING DANCE FLOOR.

  • @An0m1n0us lmaaaooooo no one wants to get on the dance floor if its titled street fighter

  • Like when I'm rockin on the microphone the stars breakin, yo it's forsaken to think that I can be taken, 'cuz i'm your highness, the rap finest, you can't deny this dig a little deeper yo i'm sure that you will find this, style of mine, as a dope speech, i'm intellectual now I have to teach, supporting my territory, I call em props, and all the hatin perpatrators, are gettin knocked

  • This track is sick

I'm sad to see that The music has changed with sf4, but atleast we get 3rd Strike online edition :D

  • this is big and if it is true that the guy who did this is the same person who "compsosed" sf4 then i need to break one of his knee caps...at least he'd still be alive and that he knows he must produce some quality stuff

  • Yeah, seriously, I want this.

  • i used to play this shit soooo loud in the car!!

  • @Mineyurn i wanna do that :(

  • @FERRARIJ716 lmao, you can....just pm me your email and ill send u the track, its cool!!

  • .....aye this is pretty damn sick....

  • Does anyone know the name of the rapper?

  • : ...0.o.....This is hardcore! I had no idea Capcom made something this epic. And I thought Gill's 3rd Strike them was awesome. Now this is one-a my favorite boss themes ^_^

  • can somebody have the lyrics?

  • :25 holy CHRIST! This is Gill's arranged theme? Holy crap I was taken back from the hard rapping a kick ass beat. Faved the second the beat started up at :26.

  • I still can't believe that the composer of SFIV, with such crappy music, made something epic as this.

  • I know right?

If wikipedia is anything to go by, then this guy is still in charge for the sequel. its not too late for them to get Okugawa on the job. we need that Alpha 3 SFIII heat from Hideki

  • We should petition to get Hideki Okugawa and Yuki Iwai back on board.

  • I think he was probably told to change his stuff in order to appeal to the SF2 fans.

  • @Chuny24 What do you mean SFIV music is crap? You sound like a hater to me...

  • @BLAMEYOURANYdotCOM

    It is crap though

  • @Renegade466isback i'll admit when i first heard the original sfiv stage songs i thought they were kinda weak and not very hype but later on i started to appreciate them because they are still good music, they're just not very 'fast' or 'engaging'.

i also really like the ssfiv remixes of the remaining sfii themes that werent made in sfiv. they built on the sfii themes brilliantly, keeping the same tune but upgrading it with really nice sound.

they need to use new songs for sfxtekken though

  • @BLAMEYOURANYdotCOM

Im not gonna lie I liked the Super SF4 remixes for what they were, but the stage themes in general were poor and lacked strong melody or catchy tunes like the old games. and relied on a techno beat

I'm very interested how they go music wise in SFx Tekken

  • @Renegade466isback

It would be the same for SFIV. Well, at least Tekken x SF will have good music

  • Nice. very sweet.

  • Nice. Beat goes perfectly with the ill rhymes.

  • Man, Gill is one bad mofo, and this track reinforces that!

  • Shit's hot!

  • The rap here GOES HARD!

  • I drop these lirricks for mah ppl in teh geto

  • i LOVE this song
