I was disgusted with the conniving Mrs. Robinson interfering with Ben and Elaine's love lives when I first watched this movie in a U.S. Film History class, but I have to say that after decades had passed, this movie has been referenced or parodied in countless movies and TV shows we know today.

Director Mike Nichols left behind a timeless gem such as this.

A small fact about the scene when Benjamin Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) drives on the Bay Bridge. There are 2 levels of the bay bridge, the bottom level is the direction from San Francisco to Oakland, where Berkley is located. But Dustin Hoffman is driving on the top level where it is from Oakland/Berkley to San Francisco, so according to the scene, Dustin Hoffman is going to SF. But the shot looks more beautiful from up top though.
