  • hi. can you remove the rechargeable ni-mh batteries? to replace them or use normal alkaline. thanks.

  • I wish the H14 would not drop down to 60% power after 2 minutes!! Does anyone know if Led Lenser will release another headlamp soon?

  • I believe one of the modes is SOS mode

  • I can't understand why people buy this headlamp, when there are MANY much better headlamps with better quality, output, less weight etc.

Take a headlamp like Zebralight H51; 1 AA and 200 lumens, vs H14; 210 lumens and 4 AA.

  • @MatHahogg Well guess for yourself if your single battery gives your lamp H1 200 Lm (0.9 hrs) or H2 140 Lm (1.7 hrs) what the h14 can give with 4 batteries... just simple energy capacity logic

  • @patrickfiorilalonde That could have been the situation.

But have you been thinking of efficient LED? The H14 and H51 uses different LED's, the H51 use a more efficient one. Have you been thinking of thermal paste, cooling and so?

You should also know that the H14 dumps down to a lower level (60 % or so) for beeing regulated.

Your answer is way too simple, battery types is not always the solution.

  • @MatHahogg Own one of LL H14R before talking crap!

  • Is it possible to buy one in a NEAR future ?

  • It's not random mode it's SOS in morse code!!!

  • @SaltigaZ hehe yes so I figured it out. Thanks.

  • alguien podria decirme donde puedo conseguir ese frontal por que con 210 lumenes tiene que ser la hostia para ir a pescar gracias

  • hey, where is h14 r from? never heard of it

  • that is not a slow random mode lol that is sos

  • yup only figured it out recently :) haha thanks.

  • @oneandonlyfreestyler hehe thanks, yeah I figured it out afterwards. Cheers :)

  • Oh no, i just bought the H7R not knowing there would be a H14R soon. :-(

  • dont stress, they are very different beasts. The H7R is a bright star in its own right, and the batteries are a lot lighter, depends what application it's for really.
