The original is still the scariest to me. NOBODY survives the 1968 version, and poor Barbara was eaten by her own brother. Then the only person that never lost their sh*t was shot and killed by some redneck cops at the end. There was really no indication of the zombies eating human flesh on this one. It DAMN SURE showed it on the 1968 version. I was on LSD for the first time, and I will NEVER forget seeing that. In 1968, nobody saw THAT coming!
