This is exactly right - If the allegation that Iran is working on nuclear weapons is true (and I think it is true) then who can blame them? I don't like the idea of any country having them, much less one which is based on religion (like Iran and Israel). But the west has now invaded two countries around them as well as Libya. If I was in their position, I'd do the same. Perhaps rather ironically we would be safer if they do acquire nukes, North Korea is way crazier and they haven't used theirs.
