Wing Chun sucks,because you are to stacionar.You are unable to move fast (change distance)with this unnatural footwork and stance.Wing Chun sucks because you are keeping your hands at chest level, so if you make one misstake you get punched in face.Thats why boxers keep theyr hands up. By holding your hands at chest level, you are not covering anything, therefore giving your opponent many targets.Wing Chun sucks, because they dont use maximums power.To get maximums power you must use shoulder.

Listing the advantages to boxing does not exactly cancel out the many disadvantages. Couple of examples: Boxing is for competition and therefore does not teach you how to defend against attacks that are outside the rules of the game. Using your shoulders gives you more power, but also telegraphs your punches A LOT. I prefer karate to WC but that doesn't mean I'm going to talk about how karate is perfect and everything else sucks. It's both ignorant and arrogant.

bjj is a form of sport while kung fu was developed as a form to kill opponents, just like the original karate, not the shit they teach today in gyms. However, to truly use wc to its full potential, you have to practice years.

In my opinion wing chun is only good against another wing chun fighter. It worths nothing against a boxer or a muay thay figher.

i mean i guess... but if you actually want to think about it then you realize that wing chun can be applied to any standing fighting style. Control of the center line and redirection of force around the centerline is physics. I mean obviously the fighting is more important than the technique... but as far as wing chun goes the technique is solid. Muy thai is a brutal style, boxing is an agile style, and wing chun is a style of economy and efficiency.
