I guarantee if this accident had happened 10 years ago they would have had to cut the roof off to get his body out of the car. I give a thumbs up to NASCAR the car maybe ugly but it damn sure is safer.

That is the same type of hit that Dale Sr. had, it just shows how far and fast they have come since his Accident, I just wish he had the C.O.T. car! Just think of how many more people's lives he would have touched in his life! R.I.P. Dale Sr. and Thank you for what you did for all of us.

honestly I think it's less the car and more a combo of the hans device and those SAFER barriers
