  • to me it is amazing that a creature like a sea horse exists, it is such a strange animal, it is amazing what evolution can do, you have creatures like sea horses and you have lions and ants and humans with civilization, seriously how that happened? god moves in mysterious ways.

  • I remember I found a seahorse once. I was swimming in the ocean and I got tangled in a bunch of seaweed, then I felt something weird on my arm. When I looked down, it was a seahorse about four inches big!

  • Thats good that you saved it XD

    So cute!!! *_*

  • Awwwww

  • 20 people did not hear "We're gonna put it back into the water"

  • awww<3[: i really want a pet sea horse!! watching this really makes me want one more!! :D

  • Woops .... Foot in the mouth sorry bout that didnt read the notes ... My bad keep ip the good work

  • @Standinglightfox No worries :-)

  • Dude that seahorse probably died for any and everyone watching this DO NOT TOUCH OR MESS them this lady killed that by 1 taking it out of water and 2 touching it with her hands ... Let's try to keep these amazing creatures safe and ALIVE ... Peace

  • @Standinglightfox Please read the description with this video..The seahorse was on the sand..I picked it up and put it in the water..Granted it would not have survived anyway, but I did NOT take it out of the water!

  • aw so cute

  • Thats cool, i'm always searching the shores of San Francisco for stuff like that but all i see are round white gelatin things, and sand dollars

  • bye seahorse :)

  • omg wie süüüüüüüß

  • Aww, how precious! Bless his little soul, haha. His teeny, weeny, itty bitty little soul at that!

  • Awe

  • aww♥

  • @CandyL0ve Seahorses are complicated animals to keep as pets, they eat live brine shrimp and require proper living conditions at all times or they will die. Not to mention they are a protected and endangered species. They mate for life and if you seporate the pair, they will most likely both die. It wouldn't be a good idea, just do what this nice lady did and observe and let go back into the ocean. :)

  • do you have more encounter withthis species? i really will like take one in my hands!

  • beautiful, have 3 seahorse and a pipefish in my 30 gal

  • uiii, wie niedlich...

  • @dannne82 Vielen Dank

  • That might not be a baby, there are some breeds that don't get much bigger than that. Thanks for putting her back in the water. :-)

  • u only took it out of the water for like 3 4 sec.right?

  • yes that is correct

  • but the vid is 12 seconds long

  • @Sawyerz You have filmed yourself having it out of the water for 13 seconds so that is the minimum. Im guessing more like 20 to get the camera out. But good on you for putting him back.

  • :) lustig (:

  • Ohh , it's cute . If i saved the seahorse , i would bring it home and take care of it till it becomes big and then release it into the water :D

  • its harder than u think

  • @CandyL0ve That's really nice of you to do that!

  • how cute

  • wo war das in welchen meer?

  • Atlantic, Cresent Beach Florida

  • @Sawyerz danke für die antwort und wieder freigelassen gut so gemacht respeckt aus den schönen deutschland

  • lol don't just put him back into the water where your standing... its gonna wash him right back

  • read the description before accusing of people taking the seahorse out of the water...

  • people read the description before accusing this person of taking the seahorse out of the water - -;;

  • Are you kidding me?

They put the sea horse right back in. They had it out for only about 12 seconds. Come on. -.-

  • Aww :)

    so cuuuute

  • dumbass didnt you see the water in her hand just stfu your making yourself sound stupid

  • they can be above water alot longer than we can be below.

  • Omg thts soooo cute!!! ^_^

  • how long does it live in air

  • well its not really mean there just like us we can hold our breath for a little while thats why the vids so short

  • Read the describen a sea gull nearly ate it so they saved it

  • God bless you! I'm glad some people still care about animals as much I do. I love animals and I hope to work with them one day. Some humans can be so sick and cruel though it makes so sad and angry. Thank you so much for caring about the world and its beautiful creatures!

P.S: That seahorse is so adorable <3

  • they found it washed up on the beach? idiot she had water in her hands with it so it wouldnt die and she put it back in so it wouldnt get eaten.

  • actually it was washed up and she saved it from being eaton

  • Du kannst dass nich verstehen..Ich habe es im Bereich der Wasser !

  • not to ruin the moment, but it obviously just washed back up and died.

  • yeah, not everyday you condemn a seahorse to a prolonged death lol.

its a shame people don't use their sense. how can a fish, whicvh tops out as an adult at 1/2 inch per second swim against the waves....

  • thats so true -__-

  • not everyday you save a lil seahorse ya know

  • ohh put it back in the water :D

  • (other than my puppy)that was the cuteest

living creature that i have ever seen.

  • that's was to cute.

  • wow, that is really small, do you have any idea what type it was?

  • cutest thing ever

  • AWW!

but why would u just hold it in your hand?

    wouldint it diee?

  • Read the description. A gull was trying to kill it they saved it.

  • she had water in her hand.

  • dang shud of kept that little sucka!

  • No reason at all to grab it out of the water if the seahorse was DYING as you say it would not move.... By the way that's not a bay seahorse it's a dwarf seahorse!

it was probably just carried to shore by the current they are very weak swimmers, now thanks to being so stressed from being out of water, it probably did DIE.

  • nooooooo It was about to die stupid a seagull was about to eat it

  • Thank you!! That was very nice. I did not know they had such a category. :-)

  • nice vid. I vote it for best 12second video on youtube!!!!!

  • it's so cute!

  • its so cute ! ;)

  • naww thts so adorable :)

hopefully it didnt die from the pressure of the waves :(

  • i love you guys

  • AHHHHHH! THEYRE SO COOL!

It was very nice of you to let it go :]

Thank you for posting this video!

  • were did you find it

    Country:

    State:

  • It washed ashore Crescent Beach,Florida....close to St. Augustine

  • I dont mean to rain on your parade, but them being partially exposed is very bad, they shouldnt ever come on contact with air.. next time scoop it up in a cup, not the hands ; 0 (

  • well the description said that it was found washed up on the beach

  • Thank you...That's true, as it was ready to be eaten..

I want to Thank you ALL for viewing my page. Almost 23k hits on a 13 second video..WOW! :-)

  • That is so kind putting it bak in the water!

i hope every1 would do that

  • plus she saved it from a seagull 8D

  • it was a good thing you found it there finally a person who cares about animals like how i do. not like other animal haters who abuse them by seeing the seahorse just get eaten by a seagull. there such graceful animals. thanks for saving it!

  • i Love animals 2 :) n i also hate animal abusers >:( But shoulda let the seagull eat his meal hes an animal to that has to survive. its the way of life. nice vid! xox

  • that was nice

    :)

  • wow how did u even notice it? it's so small! impressive.

oh did it swim properly once inside the water?

  • PUT IT BACK!!! lol. Sea Horses look sad kinda.

  • i love rescuing little animals at the beach like that :D

like clams that washed ashore and are dying. i put them back in the ocean.

    makes me feel good :)

    what beach were you at?

  • Finding a baby seahorse at the beach would be excellent!!

  • did u know that they can change thir sex so like if it wanted to be a male it wud change to a male if it wanted to be a female it wud change to a female lolits pretty nuts but also clever

  • good for you.... they almost seem unreal dont they, god has a way of making us stop and save the seahorses sometimes doesnt he.How beautiful, they almost mythical in a sense.

  • I'm not saying its wrong what you did, but maybe it was better to leave the baby seahorse with his "gull friends". You know, nature's nature... You can't tell if that baby made it alive, or if a gull died of starvation cause you took his only chance to eat (well, maybe i'm exagerating). but it's the truth. A while ago, I was in a very similar situation, but they were a pair of baby lobsters, not seahorse. And I DO leave them where they were.

But whatever, thanks for sharing your experience.

  • Aww...actually seahorses can be a pet but they need a saltwater tank and very special care

  • I'm glad you put that seahorse back.. you know 5 out of every 2000 born survive =[

  • that's so cute!

  • cool thanks for saving it

  • You so lucky to have found a beautiful creature and the love of putting him back - hope he found his family......

  • the sea horses videos you make fun to see

  • lol it was really nice for u to put it back in the water most people would of just kept it as a pet

  • Talk about right place at the right time! I'm sure (s)he is very thankfull!

  • I found it dying on the beach surrounded by hungry gulls and I put it back in the water in hopes it would survive

  • aww you are sooo lucky!!! i wish i could hold a baby sea horse... oh and my teacher has a pet shark the size of a foot ball...it is salt water so she uses salt water pills she puts on in the sharks tank each day the tank is huge though. and the food is expensive too.

  • aww .. you put the tiny dot back in the water ..

    touche

    :,)

  • LITTLE SEAHORSE! :-) :-) :-):-)

  • Very nice expect seahorses are intolerant of oxygen, exposing it to them can lead to catastrophe

  • those are aliens creatures.!! jk :)

  • i am glad there are still people out there who care for animals as much as i do:)

  • Thank you for the nice comment..I always feel like the lucky one when I get to experience all these different creatures..

  • You REALLY ARE LUCKY

  • i love seahorses i think their fascinating

  • i never new the sea horses were that small

  • its sad...i wish they were big so i can ride one threw the atlantic 400 km/h

  • are there any fresh water sea horses or are they jus salt water, or are they fresh water, i dont no

  • I think they are found only in salt water..but I'm not sure...I was just lucky to find this little guy.. :-)

  • apparently a seahorse species lives in the river Thames

  • Occasionally hippocampus zosterae can be found in brakish estuaries. This is where most are caught for the aquarium trade.

  • omg i just went to the beach yesterday and my uncle found a seahorse a lil bigger then that so we put it in a little container with water bcus my lil cousin wanted it as a pet but we put it back in the water becuase that rlly cant be a pet

  • it can be in a saltwater aquarium. there are people raising them in saltwater aquariums

  • seahorse can be a pet but only with the right tank

and they take alot of care to look after them

  • Absolutely, I've got a lot to be grateful for, wish there were more nice. kind people around! It's still a beautiful world, though!

  • That it is!! Cheers!

  • I'm so pleased there are still some people in this world who care for animals and creatures... Honestly, some of the cruelty I've seen on YouTube by some people to mice, rats and other animals made me angry and saddened!

  • Thank you...What a very nice thing to say. When ones parents are full of love and kindness, then it radiates to children and others. I wish more people could know that kind of love...My guess is that you have and feel equally as fortunate.

  • That's actually a full grown dwarf seahorse, Hippocampus zosterae.

  • Thank you very much! I had no idea and I appreciate the feedback!

  • wow, i wonder what the babies look like?

  • i agree, that was a full grown hippocampus zosterae.

  • Thank you for saving that little seahorses life. You are good people. :)

  • That was very sweet of you to say. We feel lucky to have met a creature such as this. Thank you :-)

  • That was so sweet. We should have much more ppl like that.

  • Thank you so much...I appreciate the comment! :-)

  • u saved a life, good job! ^_^

  • Thank you! Was nice of you to comment on my video
