I loved Casino Royale, but I still loved this movie. I think it still carries some of the emotion that CR had, little moments, but moments nonetheless.

im now curious to see what u'd say on diehard 5. i expected crap and liked it, for the action it was. The evil-ness was a match to the era and i liked the scale of the movie. but the "mac kid" was bad. Mcclain and the kids dialouage werent great and always need improvments but i remeber ignoring all that pretty easily, with the fresh evil plot and large scale of its effect.
Ummm... seeing as how your German... why don't you try to learn the language of the person you're insulting next time. HAY is something they feed to horses.

It didn't bother me in the least that they used a bit of action to convey the mood. Bond was pissed off, hence why he kills Slate so quickly and doesn't care.
And Bond copying Bourne? Bourne took the whole amnesiac plot from Ian Fleming's YOLT novel. Plus, look at their initials. JB...
I could not agree with this review more. Everything you said is just about exactly what I thought coming out of the movie. I think you were a little generous with your final grade, I would have gone in the C to C- range, but everything else I agree completely with.

Appearently game and video producers are using the same thing over and over again.
There are many examples spreaden around these years, the Indiana Jones movies (Over and over again), James Bond (Also over again), we've got those lame superhero movies (Iron Man, Fantastic 4, also we've got Smallville with also kinda suck acording to me).

Crap, look at EA and Relic companies, wtf I get one time but 4?
good movie, not great because the villian was fucken lame, and the begining theme song suck ass compared to the cris cornel song you know my name. well i think the movie didnt live up to its expectations because of the director change. off subject spiderman 3 was bad but not xmen 3 bad.
this movie put me to sleep and gave me whiplash. The fight/chase scenes were clostrophobic and rushed. They do touch on some good story points in the latter part of the movie but they pull away from it to get to the explosive conclusion. I was reminded of Tommorow Never Dies at some points... I think the next one, with that peek at the story, might be a little better if they run with that unscene foe idea.

I think Craig did a very good job with what he was given in the writing (i.e. nothing), but Greene was a joke, we found out nothing about Quantum, Camille's entire subplot was dumb, there was barely any revenge actually done, and few of the action scenes after the intro were interesting. Better than many of the previous Bond movies, but pretty disappointing nonetheless.
