So I loved this video and bought the movie the other day because of it (saw the box a bunch of times at Best Buy but never gave it another thought).

Yes, and I loved it!

The effects were amazing and so was the end. Even that last little scare, haha. I'm such a butt about effects and I was so happy that it didn't look corny which always pisses me off about some horror movies.

Awesome!! Yeah, when I first saw it I thought it was going to be kind of stupid and predictable. So the ending is really why I liked it so much. I'm really glad you liked it so much!

I was impressed with the special effects, too. If you liked them in this movie you should check out some other Alexandre Aja stuff, specifically the remake of The Hills Have Eyes. Although that one's pretty raw and has some really fucked up scenes.

Yeah, its really hard to find a good horror movie nowadays. I mean, it seems like after the '80s most of them have a secret code to use candy apple red blood (I'm looking at you Freddy Vs. Jason) so when I find one that looks authentic its like Yeah!

I'll definitely watch The Hills Have Eyes (and most likely force my friends to also like I've been doing with "High Tension", haha) because from what I've seen so far of Aja has been good. Thanks a lot!

This was my Halloween video for this year. It's me transforming into the main character from the French horror film, High Tension. I've taken clips from the movie and interspliced them with clips of me making my shirt costume, putting on bruise makeup, making myself bloody, etc.

My costume is based off of how the character looks at the very end of the movie: dirty t-shirt and jeans covered in blood, a gash in my forehead and cheek from wear she got in a car accident, and a giant diagonal knife slash across my face from chin to forehead. I was pretty sticky by the end of it! Hope that helps!!
