No none of the current phones out can be upgraded to windowsphone 7. Maybe if people at xda developers work on it, they may get a working version for the current phones
@dhstandard22 ... i still LOVE this phone ..i have the vzw one ..wm 6.5 ..stock and its fast ..it runs android ..but i kinda miss my 6700 ..but dont get me wrong..the tp2 is one of the best devices ever..its like a laptop in ur pocket..the youtube app is incredible..
i really dont think a professional phone reviewing company would test its usability in a classroom while trying to hide it from a teacher...just saying...but i'm totally there with you in wanting that questioned answered by some1 else who has the phone!
Really friend that is a question that is best answered by trying. It would depend on where you are in the classroom, where the teacher is, who's around, etc. I don't think that it would be a difficult thing to do.
yeah you do...you have to get an additional 30 dollar data plan that comes with unlimited internet and something else on top of the cheapest plan of $50 (450 min, unlimited txt, free weekend and after 9)
Awesome review, but it is missing the part about the conferance calling feature of the phone for the Verizon version. I know T-mobile limited there version to 3 people, did Verizon do the same?
We're still awaiting official word from Verizon, but on our demo model the feature appears to have been completely disabled. Check out our written review when it goes up in the next few days for a final answer.
UPDATE: Verizon has confirmed that the Straight Talk conference calling feature is completely disabled. Of course, you can still use Verizon's three-way calling.
i was actually looking for that feature on my tp2 and i cant believe they would disable one of the main new features being boasted about the phone! i knew ther had to be a catch in the lower price..damn you verizon!
does this phone need a data plan this is what ive been trying to find out if it doesnt then im gettin it
