Obviously, mafioso are slime but the Fed has more than its share of arrogant pigs who look for any opportunity to throw their weight around. I have no doubt there are plenty of Feds who would seize the opportunity to jerk anyone around just to make themselves feel important.
I think in real life this scene would've never happened. The FBI would not want a potential hornet's nest stirring and would just quietly waited and walked him to the side entrance and taken him away.
I don't think a guy like Phil Leotardo would have made a comment like that about the boss of his own family in front of others like that. Showing your hand to others outside of your own family like that- doesn't seem realistic.
It's amazing how these so called tough guys wet their pants at the thought of jail time. For someone who kills, steals, sells drugs, orders hits for a living, you'd think they'd be "tougher" when it came to face jail time. Watch all the Tough guys wannabe on this page attack me for this.
@kanguesso Actually, I think John was crying because his daughter's wedding was ruined by the police presence. The police were pretty retarded by not being able to wait an extra 5 minutes to pick up John.
@kanguesso Well Phil did 20 years standing on his head, never snitched. So I can understand his resentment towards John when he agrees to allocution. To a guy like Phil who did his time and kept his mouth shut, that's a disgrace.
does anyone know if there's a clip on youtube where all the docs sit at dinner, and Elliot leaks to everyone that Melfi is treating Tony? That's S6 P2
@guitar19904 But that's part of the reason the show is gread. It didn't give you those cliches like movies do. Like people think of Scarface and think that's how these guys go out when in fact this is more realistic like you said. Also, a show like the Wire is the same way. Drug kingpins don't go out in a blaze of bullets, they go out in a prison cell.
@guitar19904 If you like good crime shows without the cheesy cop dialogue, I HIGHLY reccomend it. Plus I'm from the Baltimore area so it hits home with me. Easily one of the best cop shows of all time and one of the most realistic.
@kbholla yeah making him do the perp walk.....a legitimate business man! he works as a waste management consultant for the new york sanitation and associates with the other waste management consultants in new jersey to talk about waste management and other waste management related issues...and nothing more!
If I was Johnny Sac, I'd get a lawyer and sue the government for ruining the wedding and causing psychological damage. The fucking Marshals couldn't give him an extra 30 seconds? At least for the car to leave? WTF?
@2335dark Unreasonable?? It was a sick thing of them to do and despite that John had to stay putting up with them the entire wedding and that was just the last thing John needed; his cops blocking road for his daughter's cab to leave.. its a filthy shame...

@guitar19904 Unfortunately, that's not how mob bosses go out in real life. In real life, they go out the exact way John does on this show.
Antrizzle2009 9 months ago

yea its a realistic ending for sack, and all mob bosses. the character deserved to die in a shootout or somthing mob honourable

@guitar19904 But that's part of the reason the show is gread. It didn't give you those cliches like movies do. I realize that the FEDs were doing their job, but would it really have killed them to let John's daughter leave first?
It would have taken no more than, what one or two minutes, for the cop van to back out and let the limo leave....they WERE being unreasonable here.
