I had this problem and the service engineer sorted it. He accessed the service menu for the TV and turned off the HDMI HOTPLUG option I think. Be carefull though in the menu as you can really knacker up your telly.
i got this error still every now and then , Its not on component though its HDMI , so far ive only got it on HDMI 2 slot , it could be just the cable?
I couldn't solve the problem, so I called Samsung service. They had to replace the whole motherboard with HDMI ports. Now the TV works fine.... Technician also told me that this problem is often caused by a virus, after updating firmware.

LOL! So Samsung are saying that they are leaving £1000 TVs open to attack from viruses?
I think it's more likely that he was talking out of his arse.
