i make my own figurines of the God and Goddess with clay i got from Hobby Lobby (i love hobby lobby <3) and i like doing rites outside so ill use two of them, and like a brick, or something for an altar. and for the elements ill find some rocks, branches, or whatever but most of the time for the elements i use the earth beneath my feet, the heat of my body, the water in me, the air around me, and Spirit within me.

I have an idea that I got from my mother for the travel alter for the candle problem, some places won't allow candles so what I have are electric tea lights they are great for travel they do not need matches just flip the little switch for the time of the ritual and then shut it off like you do for your candles like I say a little rhyme to give respect for the fire as I put it out

Flora, I'm sorry to hear about your Father-in-law. I hope your husband is doing ok as well. About the candle in the hotel room; Glade makes an air freshener that looks like a candle is burning inside of it, but it's a light bulb. It looks real. My hubby bought me a couple for the upcoming holiday with his loving yet VERY Christian family. So I have to be discreet . Just wanted to tell some of the younger Pagans [who also have to be discreet] about the battery operated candle. Blessed Be )O(

This video is a bit ironic because i bought a book the other day, crafting a magical life by carol holaday. its a book about creating wiccan craft objects, and one of them is a travle altar! its made out of material and folds up into a pouch to hold all the untensils :)

In regards to hotels not allowing candles to be lit, you may want to consider investing in a candle warmer. That way you can enjoy your candles scent without lighting them. You may also want to consider an LED candle (electric). Blessings to you and yours.

Florida Water is a Curio from the practice of Hoodoo/Santeria. It can be purchased at Botanicas or metaphysical stores that sell traditional witchcraft supplies. Not many New Age shops carry it. It's called "Florida Water Cologne". Blessings.

I've always been one to carry things with me as an on-the-go witch kit. I use to carry a bottle of general purpose oil, some small stones, and a little notebook and pen to work in a small zipper change pouch. I know I didn't need them, but I liked to have them.

I'm actually working on a kit I can take hiking with me for rituals in the woods. I was thinking of doing a video, and here you go giving me a reason!

Nice, I love your traveling altar. I plan on making one soon, a traveling aNemeton but at the moment I don't have the extra gear. Now do you also have an outdoor altar/shrine? Or do you put up some sort of shrine/altar when doing outside things? Also I'm sorry to hear your mother in law is passing.
