Oh, locker doors being open? More obvious things:

- RHIB rescue boats are not launched from a slipway.

- In-station turntable?

- Who parks their truck pointing in the wrong direction so you have to waste time turning it around?

- Going into a building to make a rescue with your air pack on, don't close the door behind you on your way in so you need to kick it open, and you have a partner and hose line with you usually too...

Call me old fashioned, but I don't think you can beat the catchy late 80sness of the original. Funky guitars and FM synths. Like a Nick Kershaw song in Welsh. ;)

I've been looking all night for the newer opening to Fireman Sam, the version they play on Sprout's Sunny Side Up Show. I watch it with my son, and my sister an I always comment on how awesome the theme song is. I'd love to find a copy of the claymation version they played just before this one (the remake) but as noted below there's really only the Swedish version. Anyways, thanks!

Incredible as it might sound, this is only one of TWO modern remakes of Fireman Sam. The other one is closer to the original in style, but sadly the only copy of it's version of the opening I've been able to find is in Sweedish and is (appropriately) titled "Fireman Sam Swedish theme song". Check it out and compare it to this one...
