When a violent video game is released people who probably never play games say that it is a threat to children, and blame games for random acts of violence. But the 2 most common causes of war and violence (money and religion) are just fine. I've never murdered anyone and I've been playing violent games for years, Postal and Carmageddon being among my favourites. Also why do violent films hardly ever get mentioned?

Here's my rule of thumb for game violence.
Only use violence if it's needed.
Let's take Manhunt for example: In the game you are being hunted by other people... so no matter how hard you try you'll have to kill.
However there is such a thing as Humorous violence like Madworld. No More Heroes and of course Postal 2.
