@STOPTHEEU Which was the best steam train in America? I'd have to go with the Milwaukee Road Hiawatha which ran between Chicago, Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I think Minneapolis, Minnesota from the mid '30s to the late '59s, They were pulled by streamlined 4-4-2 Atlantic locomotives that were built by the American Locomotive Company and had 84 inch driving wheels and regularly pulled the Hiawatha at 100 to 110 mph.
@KH990j Come on man! You didn't catch that???At 3:55 the narrator said the trains suffered the occasional JERK....Then they showed the guy in the suit being a jerk!
Guess it takes a dry sence of humor to catch that!
@CSXer well when I clicked on 3:55 the narrator started talking about the couplers, the jerk was just before that, that's why you didn't make any sence.
who made this video i lost my copy and would be willing to buy another!!! i mean the company and the originial name of the film when it was made or somthing to give me a lead on it...........PLEASE!!!!

@zdrewbie the company was named Burbank Video, and it was made in 1991. The video has not been made in years, so it only exists as VHS.

@zdrewbie Just out of interest. What would you say as an American is the best Steam train? (I'm from Great Britain) Just wondering! :P

You're right, I never really noticed that he said that. That and he also said Lincoln was the 13th president.
