@FeelFree3 it is just same with..why people spend so much time on facebook..in fact they can do anything that was better than facebook...its bcoz they get addicted..if u smoke...and if you addicted to it..then there you will know why..plus smoke also will harm our health..
1 Drug dealer arrested, 10 others take his place, arrest 10 drug dealers 100 take their place, the cycle will never end, as long as there is demand, there will be supply. Legalize it? Problem solved.
If death sentence by hanging was used on the traffickers, it would scare the living daylights out of them after a few public hangings have been carried out. They would start to realize that when they traffick drugs, the hangman's noose is just around the corner waiting for them. The current punishment of jailtime, as it is now, is like a teacher's rap on their knuckles compared to the hanging sentence. The Mexican govt & judiciary needs to toughen up before they can hope to win this war.
@opsvideo2008 I agree with the fact they should be punished for their actions, but a death sentence won't frighten many of those who on a daily basis are in shootouts with the local police og military. I believe that a huge step towards solving this situation is to legalizing marihuana wich is the most trafficked drug but also the one resulting in the fewest side effects by using it.
@ArtegaUK....My point is if they had a death sentence for drug trafficking in the past, the many that the Mexican police had caught would have been been hanged by now, and that would have served a strong deterrent to the drug gangs. Because the many who were caught in the past are just being jailed, we now have others who dare to have a shoot-out with the police. They know that if they lose out in the shoot-out & raise their hands in surrender, they are not going to die for their crimes.
@opsvideo2008 well.. you do realize that not all people traffic drugs voluntarily but because some drug gangs make them. i'd consider it a bit unfair if these were the ones to suffer.
There will have to be other ways than killing the troublemakers.. there's always been and there'll always be. I believe you will have to change the politics before it'll end.
Although the Mexico government has declared war on the drug cartels and used the army to fiht them, it still has been a struggle. The Mexico government badly needs to implement another effective weapon in their arsenal to win this war against the ruthless drug lords. It is the death sentence for anyone caught trafficking drugs. This weapon is the real deterrent aginst the drug traffickers.
Legalize Drugs in the United States! End prohibition and this shit would not happen - these men would be out of business = many lives saved. Also you would save lives by assuring drug quality, and the government could tax it and make big money. Check out L.E.A.P. - Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. We need to legalize and regulate all currently illegal drugs in the United States - Freedom of Choice.
Arturo Beltran Leyva is dead. After he killed and chopped up those police, they went after him with a vengence. If you do something that horrific, your days are number, the goverment will not stop hunting you.
Helps the economy? lol you fucking idiot. how's it help the economy? The money goes right into the pockets of a bunch of drug dealers, whereas, the people buy ing the drugs could be spending it elsewhere(small businesses) if not for the drugs that are so easily available. The drug users spending their money elsewhere is what would help the economy, not by buying drugs, fool.
Put down the crack pipe because your brain has turned to mush.
@dahoss65 . There is ALOT of money laundering on both sides of the border. You can't deny that. Also, those drug dealers buy ALOT of weapons here in the U.S. because the gun laws aren't as strict as in Mexico. While no one argues that crime and drugs are good, there is an serious economic impact because money is involved. In other words, ALOT of money is made off drugs and guns....Gotta follow the money man.
Actually, your're the fucking idiot. Where do you think half of the cartel members, if not more, reside? U.S. of course! Where do you think the money is spent? U.S.! The likelihood of it being spent on shit they don't need, for example,$500 whiskey bottles at night clubs, is very high! Or maybe even on rental properties (they got to stash the tons of drugs they're selling somewhere). However, none the less the money is circulating in the U.S. of A.
if i were a police officer and i see a grandma driving a huge trucka dealing with droga i wouldn't arrest her.. no way you lil abuela can go ahead its okay
This is interesting news! We are making some progress against drug dealers in Mexico. Soon the world will be a better place. Well, before you point fingers at drug cartels, maybe you should start with cleaning up your own government sponsored drug smuggling by the CIA. The CIA has been dealing in drugs and opium growing in Afghanistan for years. If you want justice, then arrest the CIA. If you won't arrest the CIA, then leave off the drug cartels and let them make a decent living like the CIA!
you know why the economy is fucked up because they're fucking with the mexican cartels and they arent able to make as much money that creates, jobs construction ,spending check out cocaine cowboys and see what drug money does for the economy
I just don't get why so many people spend money to buy drugs to harm their own health.
