  • whts the name of the song

  • bass hits so hard on that i can feel it thru my headphones and its a camera recording too

  • what gauge wire u using for it

  • That's freakin' awesome!

  • whats the song name

  • wow!!!

  • cool

  • did you use the air form the other speaker to do that

  • that is very good sounds really clean about the same sa the woofer I have at my feet which is... 30 watts believe it or not and it hits about as hard as my two tens and they have about 250 watts runnin to them but it is a house unit though and its stuck on one volume but that volume will out bass most speakers running through a car amp at that same volume

  • How did u Do it i want the tutorial!!:P

  • This sub is great at very low notes.

  • nice

  • need to throw more power too it, unless it starts distorting.

  • How do you make a speaker like that ?

  • sick! seriously best homemade sub ive seen in a long time^^ good job:D

  • Great work on this one dude. I'm fixing to upload a video of my 15" square one. Thanks for the instruction man.

  • Crazy!

  • nice!!! good work xD

  • I like it that is wiled cool and how could u fake it the cone is vibrateing

  • good work

  • haha i gotta give u props on making a working sub from scratch, but it looks like shit and it dosent look like it'd hold up to much. cool though

  • every video i watched about homemade sub contains pushing the cone inwards with hand but no one pulls out. Make sure it is soft enough outwards as well as inwards this will make more deep and solid sound.

  • put bass i love you on it :P

  • noooooo, i don't think so.

  • wow shut the fuck up know one cares

  • nice

  • nice

  • how did u make it

  • TS?

  • awesome !! im working on building a sub out of old ones, check out my vids

  • With regards to the comment in the description about the camera mic being crappy, I have to say that it isn't all that bad, it actually picked up the bass better than a lot of other cameras/videos out there.

  • I agree with you it is making the crappy computer speakers I have vibrate my computer desk a little.

  • can you put a video up teaching how to make one

  • Comment removed

  • Here only in the philippines you can find a lot of electronic shop that sells subwoofers part's like dumper, pigtails, cone and edges they also revoice coil. If your going to ask me I also repair all kinds of subwoofers weather its already burned or already a trash for you I have alot of woofers and subwoofers repaired.

  • please seek this skill further by builidng an actual sub. Im sure they have kits out there somewhere. The kind where you get to wire your own cone oh yea baby. Look into flatwind coils. Don't ignore skills that deal with car audio components, most people have no clue how to do anything.

  • Sounds well !!

How much it cost for you, 6 $ ??

  • More like $20. $3 magnet (neodymium), $7 wire, several dollars of foam board to build, and some patience and precision.

  • Great project !

  • Dang bro you should hit me up id pay you for a tutorial or how to make it.

  • Top job..... u can make some money outta doin this shit keep it up!

  • lolzz i was listening to your home made sub with my home made sub

  • i would say pretty damn kick ass!

i would make one and make it portable but my friends would give me shit for being so damn nerdy just like everything else i do

if u still have that emachine u really need to change the power supply b4 it kills the whole motherboard! i know 3 people who bought the same kind same time, they all died a couple years later at the same time! cause of death: power supply

  • Wooaahh!!!!!!!

  • that is so cool i want to try to make 1!!!

    good job=)

  • Well, if that was your homemade woofer, than that my friend is five Stars!, could you please make a tutorial on how to make one

  • wow how did u make this it is amazing

  • That's a really awesome sub dude!

  • Good job.

  • thats fuckin crazy shit hit me up mayne! i cant afford a new sub but have old magnets and shit to use!

  • I use it for a regular sub. My 12" will hit a lot harder than this one when its done.

  • @J07C24S88 what type of wire are you using? what size? and where can i get it?

  • great!!!..........but...how?

  • how do you do that?

  • god sake its insane, GJ :P

  • dude thats sick

  • congratulations bro ! It sure is ugly as hell but it sounds awesome! Great job I really admire people like u for having the patience and the know how to create something as cool as that ...

  • great job

  • great audio depth please teach me.

  • now that i can say is "ghetto"

    lmao

    that is awesome

  • sounds deeper then my 300W JVC sub, hell id buy one of those!

  • small excursion

  • note in the discription, it says: 25WATTS. thats not gonna make it move very much. i have a 530watt system and mi sidekick lx camra barley pikks it up.

    from your -Lord 殺生丸-

  • No, it's just that he didn't crank it at all. hwas low volume. It's very efficient and it can do 3 or 4 inches of excursion. I'm building one of my own and I know all about his sub because he told me all I can to help me build mine. All I need now is to purchase the wire and magnet.

  • fucking sick. its insane man!!

    from your -Lord 殺生丸-

  • sick howd u make it?

  • wow man making a subwoofer must be hard sounds good too

  • It not hard really but it takes some precision.

  • cool make a tutor i rated 5*

  • Thanks. I'll make one stay tuned.

  • Thats crazy. I made one myself but it doesnt get very loud. I think that my coil isnt right. What is the right way to winde the voice coil on cuz it doesnt wirk 4 me.

  • can you make a tutorial? that's some heavy bass

  • Thanks. Yeah I'll try to make one I was busy with school. I'll try to make one when I build my 12" sub soon. It's in progress now. Once I have time I'll post a video.

  • cool thanks man

  • Tutorial? hah

  • COOL MAN

  • Also, would electrical PVC tape work for the surrounds? It's the closest thing I have to duct tape. It's either that, latex gloves, or masking tape. What magnet(s) should I get? We don't like to get things online when we don't have to, so what would be the cheapest good sub magnet I could get?

  • What material should I use for the voice coil? A toilet paper cardboard roll, copy paper, ect.?

  • What's the song? That's an awsome sub BTW!

  • Six 12's - Webbie

  • Thanks so much dude! It's definitly on the top 10 list of hardest hitting songs on my little 4" Cyber Acoustics sub!

  • how do you make a voice-coil so efficient?

  • I made it the same height as the magnet and half of the voice coil through the magnet. On this one the v.c height is 0.75" and the diameter is 1.75". I used 75' of 26AWG enamel coated wire. It was 3.6 Ohms which is 4 Ohms nominal. Did you see my new sub with neo magnets. The v.c. is 1.5"h x 1.5"dia. with 80' of 22AWG wire and its a lot louder than this one.

  • oh nice! i'll check out your other video

  • How did u make that, man it sounds good

  • Thanks. I'll try to make a video on how I made it later this week hopefully.

  • nice it would sound better if u put it in a box tho

  • guys wait when i fix me homemade subwoofer than we can talk about sound of size

  • nice wutis that thing like 1 wat lol that shit was gay!!!!!!!

  • nice man. that thing sounds awsome. good work

  • I don't think the bass is coming from that homemade sub because it's sounds nice.

  • Its coming from it. When I first tested it I couldn't believe how good the SQ was, its better than some real subs. I can feel the bass a little. The cone is very stiff I will show some excursion videos soon.

  • Nice dude, glad to see some interest with making them. Throw that bitch in a box and let me know how it goes man.

  • I just uploaded a free air video of it. I'll make a video with more bass soon. In this video it was in an old 8" sub enclosure with a paper towel roll for a port. It wasn't sealed right and the port was being blocked from the inside by some sound absorbing material. It was over stuffed but now I took it all out. It sound better now.

  • what song is dat

  • Six 12's - Webbie
