Yes, evolution has been proven as true, and it has been observed on the micro and macro level.
Micro scale example: bacteria actively developing resistance to antibiotics and other environmental hazards (heat, cold, UV radiation, etc), and single celled organisms mutating into multi celled organisms under direct observation.

@dstrube1 Nuh, uh - I've even tried to get Aron (who has responded to me before) himself to spell them out (privately OR publicly), but to no avail.
It's a shame too - I'd like to review it (to possibly edit or add to it as seems relevant), as I'm pretty fluent in evolutionary theory, but can't seem to be able to break through the mental barriers these people put up attempting to REFUSE to "believe" the truths of the neo-Darwinian synthesis. (I would appreciate adding a new tactic or two.)
I always find it interesting to hear these kind of stories. My own is quite different. When I was young I was very surprised when I realised that people actually believed in God today, I had thought it was just something people believed in the Middle Ages.
Aron-Ra's path from woo-woo believer to Atheist, greatly mirrors my own life, with each former nutty belief being debunked, one by one until none were left.
@richie8811 That's every bit as blatantly mindwashing as "Satan's greatest trick was making people think he wasn't there." That doesn't anger us. It makes us pity your gullibility.
@richie8811 Here's a crucial piece of information that Yahweh just had to give us. "Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. "Do not cook a young goat in its mother's milk." Exodus 34:26
Thanks Yahweh, I couldn't of figured that out by myself!
Norwalk, CA? I'm from Norwalk. I used to do the same thing, bike down to the library and spend all day there. Norwalk's got a decent library actually.
My father-in-law worked for FEMA, He wasn't religious, but he always said that if there was a God, he hated mobile homes and churches! I think churches and mobile homes just don't produce as much heat as neighborhood homes built in heat islands. Heat makes the tornadoes rise, and the coolness makes them drop and destroy! Find a warm deep hole to duck in, if a tornado comes!
@MetalxXxMayhem yea i thought he was cool till i found out he was a satanist, and not a anton laveyian satanist, a straight up i believe Satan is a real entity rather than an idea satanist. still a bad ass band though
I have a problem with this convention and the 'atheist movement' in a significant way. It is a movement to disprove radical, unreal, and downright silly belief systems which most of the world ignorantly accept- That part... awesome! But, it is like a church in many ways. All the atheists gather together and tell each other what they all already feel, and feel good about it. More about why people believe, why they need faith, and why the alternative is far superior for them would be more helpful.
@shabido1 Gathering together isn't the religious-part of religion, nor is it the bad part. Although I understand the intuitive issue of not wanting atheists to do ANYTHING similar to what religious folks do, you have to separate the religious parts of religion (dogma, faith, untestable assertions, emotional manipulation, etc) from stuff that applies to countless groups (sports fans, vegetarians, political groups, environmentalist groups, etc etc). People with shared interests will gather & talk.
@Flyborg You're right, people do separate from the masses and gather into like groups, and that is the point. I see the separation, and it is never a good idea, particularly here. These are great people, who fight for something extremely important, and community can be a very good thing. But, community also makes it easier to feel safe, and harder to see problems. They are doing and have done incredible work, but that doesn't make them immune to an outside perspective.
@shabido1 Ah, that's where you're wrong my friend. A church not only gathers to discuss what each other know, they gather and spread gospel. They work very hard to "save" non-believers. They pass around money bowls so the Priest/Pastor can drive a Lexus. They talk about sins and how sinners need to be "saved". They talk about the gift (Christianity) that was given to Native Americans. These Atheist gatherings do none of the above. Instead, they talk difference branches of science. They Educate.
@sonykroket The fact that you called me a "reli-muppet" tells me one of two things out of many: either you didn't read the entirety of my comment or you lack fundamental reading comprehension. Had you accomplished either, you would have realized that I am mocking religion and pointing out the absurdity of comparing Atheism to religion. If you didn't read the entirety of my comment, then I can safely assume that you are trigger happy when it comes to ridiculing actual "reli-muppets".
@shabido1 Ah, that's where you're wrong my friend. A church not only gathers to discuss what each other know, they gather and spread gospel. They work very hard to "save" non-believers. I finished watching this one, and I feel the same way at 48:00 (Around there.) That Christians, if they lose a debate, that to them, is like pulling out their heart. Taking away their weapon.
Holy shit, Ra! Take a fucking breath why don't you? You DO have a captive audience.
That's it. I'm going to fast forward until your live presentaion. I'm a huge admirer of you but I haven't smoked a big bag of crack today thus I won't be able to keep up with the machinegun cadence in your videos.
The myths of the bible continue to be debunked as the proponents of its doctrine retreat to the dark recesses of human ignorance. Reason, logic, evidence, and the scientific method will overcome the ancient fears and superstitions of our ancestors.
@northoforacle I've read vast amounts from atheists.99% severely misrepresents facts. There is nothing more unrivaled in accuracy than the Bible, esp. in history & even many atheist scholars were convinced by it. In science it's being vindicated as well.Watch this 1 video on the vast evidence for a global flood. Start around 33:00. Dr. Silvestru shows the Bible's claim briefly &then he shows much scientific confirmation.
@Drgamedood No, you need to get over the myths of evolution and it's continually debunked falsehoods. We have overwhelming evidence of a global flood from science and numerous historical sources that concur. Take only ONE hour and you will see much physical evidence that will expose the lie that there is no evidence for a global flood. There most certainly is very powerful evidence that can't be explained by ANYTHING else.
@Drgamedood Sorry, but you are completely wrong and you haven't done the research on both sides. I have. Evolution DOES have some evidence. But, in most areas creation science has more and many things in nature can NOT be reconciled with universal common descent. A fact you may not know is that creationists pioneered speciation, mutations, natural selection, sexual selection LONG before Darwin ever did, as in centuries and limited speciation is exclusively part of creation science.
@Drgamedood Most atheists don't understand what counts as evidence...and some in every group don't. Atheists seem to think that if it disagrees with their views, it can't possibly be evidence. That shows dire ignorance of how science works. Even false theories can have evidence and most do. I will admit in a second that universal common descent has evidence even though I don't believe it's true. Anyone who says creation or UCD doesn't have evidence is a liar or doesn't understand science.
@Drgamedood Question...how can you make claims about something you have never even watched? That's not being even remotely scientific, intelligent or rational. People who are open minded are ALWAYS willing to consider that they might be wrong. I've been wrong many times...but, most atheists don't follow the scientific method or the historical method when on the topic of Christianity...they do in other areas..but suddenly ignore both those methods because of emotions.
@TruthIsLife7 We can scientifically, intelligently and rationally claim the orbital period of Pluto, despite no one living long enough to have witnessed it come to pass. Next question.
@spoonfreakdotcom Um, where did I say that inferential science was not helpful or that it doesn't count as evidence? It's precisely for that reason that we have evidence of creation science. Science is much better and certain in dealing with repeatable things, but it also can be helpful in forensics and historical science.
@sexyvalentines Um, you could not straw man me any worse. Real Christianity has NEVER EVER EVER EVER been just saying I believe it. NUMEROUS scientists and scholars were convinced by hard evidence that Christianity has the best evidence overall..and this is ESPECIALLY true when the scholar used consistent standards and studied the same amount of evidence on both sides..most people don't study the evidence on both sides to a similar depth.
@darkmiles22 And neither Did Aronra have any integrity to mention that much of modern science as well as other aspects of modern civilization was built on a theistic superstructure and modern atheism is just a façade built on that. Not only the foundation but much of the interior that holds up the structure was built largely by creationists, and they were drawing both principles and specific scientific concepts directly from the Word of God.
The scientific method, peer review, the 1st scientific society in history, Occam’s razor, and most branches of science were invented/pioneered by creationists. John Goddard, the father of space science was an ardent creationist. You wouldn’t HAVE MOST IF NOT ALL of modern science without creationists.
Arno Penzias (1978 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics and co-discoverer of the cosmic background radiation) makes a very interesting point concerning Johannes Kepler. Speaking about the scientific goal to find the simplest answer possible, Penzias says:
"That really goes back to the triumph, not of Copernicus, but really the triumph of Kepler. That's because, after all, the notion of epicycles and so forth goes back to days when scientists were swapping opinions. All this went along until we had a true believer and this was Kepler.Kepler, after all, was the Old Testament Christian. Right?
He really believed in God the Lawgiver. And so he demanded that the same God who spoke in single words and created the universe is not going to have a universe with 35 epicycles in it. And he said there's got to be something simpler and more powerful. Now he was lucky or maybe there was something deeper, but Kepler's faith was rewarded with his laws of nature. And so from that day on, it's been an awful struggle, but over long centuries,
@darkmiles22 That is true...but even more it demonstrates why we should teach the difference between straw manning&accurate representation of facts. He didn't mention one of the 1000s of lines of evidence that support Christianity backed up by literally billions of confirmations.Just one seminar with a FEW basics is here:
watch?v=tTmjnxzK3gQ
or you can go to my Bible health science playlist and see how Natgeo, Bluezones, &much secular research agrees that Bible principles add 10+ years to life.
we find that very simple laws of nature actually do apply. And so that expectation is still with scientists. And it comes essentially from Kepler, and Kepler got it out of his belief in the Bible, as far as I can tell. This passionate belief turned out to be right. And he gave us his laws of motion, the first real laws of nature we ever had. And so nature turned out to redeem the expectations he had based on his faith. And scientists have adopted Kepler's faith, without the cause."
@TruthIsLife7 The bible has no special status to knowledge in any domain. If you want to stay healthy just remember: diet, exercise, reduce stress, and get regular check ups.
The position of nearly all evolutionists and atheists is built on this a priori assumption.
‘Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such an hypothesis is excluded from science because it is not naturalistic.’ Kansas State University immunologist Scott Todd, correspondence to Nature 401(6752):423, 30 Sept. 1999.
Sadly, some Christians have followed atheists in this stupidity of assuming your view is right regardless of the evidence. But, that's opposed to the biblical position.
Aronra does make some good points...that we should base all beliefs&ideas on evidence&facts. While there are amateurs in all groups that just believe whatever they're told, both the Bible&numerous Christian scientists, historians&scholars throughout history, some former atheists, based their belief on evidence.
Professor of systematic theology at Princeton, A.A. Hodge, said,
"Faith must have adequate evidence, else it is mere superstition."
Aronra doesn't understand Christianity has solid evidence.
@14Guitars No, what is idiotic is that atheists can't even begin to define Christianity correctly. If Christianity was actually anything like what Aronra claims, I'd be an atheist too. But, I have not found hardly anything he has said about the Bible that has any accuracy. Some Christians are responsible for this since they put traditions and pagan philosophy above the Bible (see wwwDOThelltruthDOTcom)...and atheists are also quite responsible for this. Straw manning is not rational at all.
@TruthIsLife7 I repeat, a CHRISTIAN was the most effective opponent of some of the most accomplished (and certainly most famous and vocal) creation scientists in the USA at the Kitzmiller V Dover trial. And whatever your Christianity is, or whatever it is personally to anyone else, it does not enter into the argument on whether the bible is true or whether life was created by a deity or is just part of natural reality.
@stopt1me Why do you think I or ANYONE is ignorant that Ken Miller is a Christian. It was also Christians who followed Greek philosophy instead of the Bible in spontaneous generation in opposition to the hard core creationist Pasteur. This is nothing new.
What the Bible says Christianity is and truth is is absolutely crucial. You must know that first accurately in order to test if it is true using other methods such as the scientific&historical methods. The Bible has passed with flying colors.
@TruthIsLife7 You say the bible has passed with flying colors? Yes, the bible has passed straight in to the garbage with flying colors where it belongs. Hold on to your myths my friend; they may keep you from the reality you dread. Peace
@TruthIsLife7 Sorry; having a hard time getting past your poor grammar. The bible is clear to the reader. It is a group of works, written by different authors at different times. Several books (and even parts of books) contradict each other, because each is an independent, though generally related, story. If you are saying that one must study to "interpret" what the bible says to truly understanding, we have nothing to discuss, because you can "interpret" (i.e. read into) it any way you want.
@MrPravusable Aronra started off with all sorts of straw men..and that's his habit. I've interacted with him personally and he refused to even let me define what I myself believed..straw manned me until I gave up trying to have a rational conversation with him. I have ~200 videos of evidence for creation science on my channel alone + ~3,000 files more on my computer. Start with my playlist "creation-evidence for the flood" (videos 2-9) with a seminar by Dr. Wise, Ph.D. in geology from Harvard.
I know only ONE atheist in 20 years so far who can even define creation science correctly and have so far met hardly any who actually knew anything beyond superficial investigations of Christianity. That means they can't judge anything accurately. Spend some time at creationDOTcom with 7,000+ articles on the science of creation.
Most who become atheists only know the evidence for one side. Most who have studied the evidence in depth on both sides well become Christians and often creationists.
Here's one example of a hardcore former atheist with a Ph.D. in zoology, who became creationist based on studying the evidence in depth on both sides and there are numerous others like him.
watch?v=rlJH7A5NHT8 (a short biography of his experience)
wwwDOTyoutubeDOTcom/user/TruthIsLife7#g/c/FF4DF93F306FA0C3 (a seminar summarizing the evidence that convinced him.
@Aronra With all due respect for your intelligence & sincerity, your concept of Christianity is about as warped as it can possibly get. Some of this is due to well meaning Christians who followed traditions INSTEAD of the Bible against Mark 7:5-13. Some is due to dire misinformation in modern society, esp. in schools.
There is no eternal hell in the Bible (wwwDOThelltruthDOTcom or my hell playlist are good places to start).
People who are non-Christians can be accepted by God &
@Aronra How is atheism related at all to free thinking when it consistently bans mountains of evidence for God when it can&defines science as only pointing to natural conclusions BEFORE EVEN LOOKING at the evidence, something that violates the very foundations of science that we should follow the evidence wherever it leads? Something similar would be to define universal common descent as untestable, assert against facts that science can't point to it no matter what&then claim it has no evidence.
@TruthIsLife7 Most telling facts, Aaronra presented a mountain of factual evidence to support his assertions regarding evoluion; and you proffered absolutely zero evidence for your imaginary mountain of unsupported claim. Your accusation is entirely false, free thinkers have most certainly examined the faith (belief w/o evidence) based claims of invisible god existence. The rational deduction of such evaluation is atheism.
Anyone who says there is no evidence for creation science has either been duped, doesn't know what scientific evidence is or is an intentional liar. Same for anyone who says that universal common descent doesn't have evidence. BOTH have evidence. From MUCH research, it's clear to me that creation science has a lot more and better evidence.
@TruthIsLife7: Sorry, but Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District pitted the very finest "creation scientitsts" against old earth scientists (the best of whom to testify AGAINST creation science was a Christian) who absolutely obliterated the creationists in court. Watch the videos. Read the reports. I'm not telling anyone to not read your stuff or view your videos, but if they have a choice between that and taking a shit, taking a shit will likely be a more valuable use of their time.
@stopt1me I've read much on Dover and others. In ALL cases, there is an apriori fallacy. Science can't point to God..and it is based on this POLITICAL ideology that creation science is banned, NOT a scientific basis. If we defined science as not being able to point to universal common descent and banned all scientists who tried to publish anything in that direction, it would be exactly the same bias that has been done to creation in recent decades.
The purpose of the restrictions of Christianity are no different from those of the scientific method, peer review, etc. (both of which Christians pioneered and MUCH more)--to avoid harm to humans and to enable the maximum progress. Atheism in history has been documented to be about the greatest enemy of free though in every case where it has been the official view of the state or gotten academic power. Atheism is a facade built on foundations of theism.
Other than that weird part about the occult in the middle of his speech, I found the talk very enlightening. I always appreciate people when they say where their thinking was wrong before they improved upon it. It makes me question the definition of 'stupid' I once held. Stupid isn't being wrong about the obvious, it's being wrong about the obvious and refusing to learn the truth.
@AronRa So, if one chooses to organize facts based on if they support cherished opinions rather than choosing to hold opinions that are supported by facts, then one may achieve complete confidence at the mere cost of being completely wrong.
Religious cult subscribers find safety and security in their mass delusions, perfectly reflecting the pack nature of the human animal. As it is observed in our animal cousins, the instinct to follow the pack overpowers the need to critically and honestly analyze the overall mission and effect of the pack's actions. Just as sheep will follow each other off a cliff, homosapians follow each other into insanity; further evidence that we bear the stamp of our lowly origin.
If anyone watches the first 6 mins of this video and still believes in god you are a retard. Seriously how many times can you argue with someone about the grass being green? ?? Or 2+2=4??? These are the FACTS idiots accept the TRUTH
@RusconiDom I know of some other youtube atheists nonstampcollector, and grapplingignorance. Now as for atheist documentaries I personally like Bill Maher's Religulous, and Richard Dawkins has a few of them on youtube just search Richard Dawkins documentaries. Hope that helps.
i am an unabashed aronra fan.i have heard snippets of his story on another video of him speaking a year ago (or two),but this was a more in depth presentation.i appreciate his story so very much.he addresses here some things that bothered me for years while a xtian (and of course, afterwards) and the icing on this is that i do not feel so dumb for having been willingly clinging to beliefs in the past.thank you for this post!
@RusconiDom Well, I'd say the most famous atheists because of youtube are Matt Dillahunty, The Thinking Atheist and Thunderf00t. But you can also check out other presentations of great atheists here on youtube, like Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, Micheal Shermer.. And if you need more inspiration, check out the atheism-subreddit. Hope I could help
How on earth have I never heard of this guy? He's smart and great to listen to as all the other "atheist-stars" on youtube, but he also looks like a fuckin metalhead. Awesome, got to check for more of his stuff on youtbe.
SCIENCE SHOWS THAT THE UNIVERSE, because of entropy, couldn't have sustained itself from all eternity. Einstein confirmed that space, matter, and time had a beginning! That beginning had to be supernatural because natural laws have no ability to bring the universe into existence from nothing. The supernatural cannot be proved by science but science points to a supernatural intelligence for the origin and order of the universe ~ HOW FORENSIC SCIENCE REFUTES ATHEISM (Article)
NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). How were species living and reproducing if their reproductive system and other vital organs hadn't evolved yet? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic/biological similarities between species.

More about why people believe, why they need faith, and why the alternative is far superior for them would be more helpful.

therianet 5 months ago
@shabido1 Gathering together isn't the religious-part of religion, nor is it the bad part. Although I understand the intuitive issue of not wanting atheists to do ANYTHING similar to what religious folks do, you have to separate the religious parts of religion (dogma, faith, untestable assertions, emotional manipulation, etc) from stuff that applies to countless groups (sports fans, vegetarians, political groups, environmentalist groups, etc etc). People with shared interests will gather & talk.
Flyborg 5 months ago
@Flyborg You're right, people do separate from the masses and gather into like groups, and that is the point. I see the separation, and it is never a good idea, particularly here. These are great people, who fight for something extremely important, and community can be a very good thing. But, community also makes it easier to feel safe, and harder to see problems. They are doing and have done incredible work, but that doesn't make them immune to an outside perspective.

In science it's being vindicated as well.Watch this 1 video on the vast evidence for a global flood. Start around 33:00. Dr. Silvestru shows the Bible's claim briefly &then he shows much scientific confirmation.

@TruthIsLife7 LOL. The global flood is a myth. Get over it.
Drgamedood 6 months ago
@Drgamedood No, you need to get over the myths of evolution and it's continually debunked falsehoods. We have overwhelming evidence of a global flood from science and numerous historical sources that concur. Take only ONE hour and you will see much physical evidence that will expose the lie that there is no evidence for a global flood. There most certainly is very powerful evidence that can't be explained by ANYTHING else.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 you are fucking retarded. Evolution has mountains of evidence to back it up. While a global flood has none. moron.
Drgamedood 6 months ago
@Drgamedood Sorry, but you are completely wrong and you haven't done the research on both sides. I have. Evolution DOES have some evidence. But, in most areas creation science has more and many things in nature can NOT be reconciled with universal common descent. A fact you may not know is that creationists pioneered speciation, mutations, natural selection, sexual selection LONG before Darwin ever did, as in centuries and limited speciation is exclusively part of creation science.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 Troll harder. Idiot.
Drgamedood 6 months ago
@Drgamedood Most atheists don't understand what counts as evidence...and some in every group don't. Atheists seem to think that if it disagrees with their views, it can't possibly be evidence. That shows dire ignorance of how science works. Even false theories can have evidence and most do. I will admit in a second that universal common descent has evidence even though I don't believe it's true. Anyone who says creation or UCD doesn't have evidence is a liar or doesn't understand science.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@Drgamedood Question...how can you make claims about something you have never even watched? That's not being even remotely scientific, intelligent or rational. People who are open minded are ALWAYS willing to consider that they might be wrong. I've been wrong many times...but, most atheists don't follow the scientific method or the historical method when on the topic of Christianity...they do in other areas..but suddenly ignore both those methods because of emotions.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 We can scientifically, intelligently and rationally claim the orbital period of Pluto, despite no one living long enough to have witnessed it come to pass. Next question.
spoonfreakdotcom 6 months ago
@spoonfreakdotcom Um, where did I say that inferential science was not helpful or that it doesn't count as evidence? It's precisely for that reason that we have evidence of creation science. Science is much better and certain in dealing with repeatable things, but it also can be helpful in forensics and historical science.

sexyvalentines 6 months ago

NUMEROUS scientists and scholars were convinced by hard evidence that Christianity has the best evidence overall..and this is ESPECIALLY true when the scholar used consistent standards and studied the same amount of evidence on both sides..most people don't study the evidence on both sides to a similar depth.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@darkmiles22 And neither Did Aronra have any integrity to mention that much of modern science as well as other aspects of modern civilization was built on a theistic superstructure and modern atheism is just a façade built on that. Not only the foundation but much of the interior that holds up the structure was built largely by creationists, and they were drawing both principles and specific scientific concepts directly from the Word of God.

"That really goes back to the triumph, not of Copernicus, but really the triumph of Kepler. That's because, after all, the notion of epicycles and so forth goes back to days when scientists were swapping opinions. TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
And so from that day on, it's been an awful struggle, but over long centuries,

we find that very simple laws of nature actually do apply.

Aronra does make some good points...that we should base all beliefs&ideas on evidence&facts. While there are amateurs in all groups that just believe whatever they're told, both the Bible&numerous Christian scientists, historians&scholars throughout history, some former atheists, based their belief on evidence.

14Guitars 6 months ago
@14Guitars No, what is idiotic is that atheists can't even begin to define Christianity correctly. If Christianity was actually anything like what Aronra claims, I'd be an atheist too. But, I have not found hardly anything he has said about the Bible that has any accuracy. Some Christians are responsible for this since they put traditions and pagan philosophy above the Bible (see wwwDOThelltruthDOTcom)...and atheists are also quite responsible for this. Straw manning is not rational at all.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 I repeat, a CHRISTIAN was the most effective opponent of some of the most accomplished (and certainly most famous and vocal) creation scientists in the USA at the Kitzmiller V Dover trial. And whatever your Christianity is, or whatever it is personally to anyone else, it does not enter into the argument on whether the bible is true or whether life was created by a deity or is just part of natural reality.
stopt1me 6 months ago
@stopt1me Why do you think I or ANYONE is ignorant that Ken Miller is a Christian. It was also Christians who followed Greek philosophy instead of the Bible in spontaneous generation in opposition to the hard core creationist Pasteur. This is nothing new.
What the Bible says Christianity is and truth is is absolutely crucial. You must know that first accurately in order to test if it is true using other methods such as the scientific&historical methods. The Bible has passed with flying colors.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 You say the bible has passed with flying colors? Yes, the bible has passed straight in to the garbage with flying colors where it belongs. Hold on to your myths my friend; they may keep you from the reality you dread. Peace
northoforacle 6 months ago

Most who become atheists only know the evidence for one side. Most who have studied the evidence in depth on both sides well become Christians and often creationists.

TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@Aronra How is atheism related at all to free thinking when it consistently bans mountains of evidence for God when it can&defines science as only pointing to natural conclusions BEFORE EVEN LOOKING at the evidence, something that violates the very foundations of science that we should follow the evidence wherever it leads? Something similar would be to define universal common descent as untestable, assert against facts that science can't point to it no matter what&then claim it has no evidence.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7 Most telling facts, Aaronra presented a mountain of factual evidence to support his assertions regarding evoluion; and you proffered absolutely zero evidence for your imaginary mountain of unsupported claim. Your accusation is entirely false, free thinkers have most certainly examined the faith (belief w/o evidence) based claims of invisible god existence. The rational deduction of such evaluation is atheism.
MrPravusable 6 months ago
Anyone who says there is no evidence for creation science has either been duped, doesn't know what scientific evidence is or is an intentional liar. Same for anyone who says that universal common descent doesn't have evidence. BOTH have evidence. From MUCH research, it's clear to me that creation science has a lot more and better evidence.
TruthIsLife7 6 months ago
@TruthIsLife7: Sorry, but Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District pitted the very finest "creation scientitsts" against old earth scientists (the best of whom to testify AGAINST creation science was a Christian) who absolutely obliterated the creationists in court. Watch the videos. Read the reports. I'm not telling anyone to not read your stuff or view your videos, but if they have a choice between that and taking a shit, taking a shit will likely be a more valuable use of their time.
stopt1me 6 months ago
@stopt1me I've read much on Dover and others. In ALL cases, there is an apriori fallacy. Science can't point to God..and it is based on this POLITICAL ideology that creation science is banned, NOT a scientific basis. If we defined science as not being able to point to universal common descent and banned all scientists who tried to publish anything in that direction, it would be exactly the same bias that has been done to creation in recent decades.
