wtf ; i drived the old Mito (looked like a Ducati) and on that time it was the most beautyfull 125ccm on the whole wild world !!! -and not only beautyfull ; Also the one with the most power of all !
- but the new model looks so damn fatal (shit) that i would drive these days also a Aprillia; or better the good old Cagiva Mito that was a damn crazy Bike..... Loved to drive with 16 Years more than 160 (190) km/h and a stunning acceleration!!! Damn good old time !!!!!!!
Look at the front of the mito! its like a pig! its the one of the ugliest motorcycles I have ever seen... the new rs 125 is 100000000 times more beautiful than the new mito.... @vithaj92 ur the kid...
@johanholth I have tried both bikes, and unrestricted a mito is a lot faster and more aggressive than an RS. I bet you both have restricted versions, otherwise you would not have said that.
hahhaha this asshole in the video pissed me off... the MITO is so ugly... its not that fast for 125... ktm 125 exc and aprilia rs 125 are better... tho the exc is supermoto but very powerfull 125 motorcycle... but rs 125 is way better looking and way better powerfull...
It is amazing how two stroke engines leave marks on whom the good has, it is not done to anyone, have to like to tinker, and enjoy the ride and acceleration. He is unrivaled, unsurpassable and desired by many, but few have the courage to have one. It is not just a matter of beautiful noise with little engine, they do damage wherever they go and get results that many larger four strokes do not. Long live the 2 strokes forever!
One tiny fact about 'Garage Time' to do with 4 / 2 strokes, 4 strokes need little maintenance - basically put petrol in and go! 2 strokes need regular small maintenance. When a 4 strokes breaks down it goes in grand style. I'd rather keep checking and cleaning my 2 spark plugs than have to strip an engine to replace a cam chain. I do repair bikes and I have done cam chains and spark plugs. Anyone deciding on what to buy (4 or 2 stroke) remember this!
wolfyss, i would defintaly go 4 stroke if it was an R1, got a mito125 and a yammy xt125r so i got both 4 and 2 stroke, for day 2 day use i'd pick the yammy anytime, but for weekends, u know the 2 stroke makes sense, so on that note, shut it MRkallek91!!!
mayoDK ur rite m8, the new 1 looks like a coke addict who's nose has fallen off, ive got the 2002 evolution an they foookin rock, they do demand a lot of care though to keep them running right.
I'd say the normal stuff you have to look after are things like the powervalve, fluid stances and tolerances (adjusting and replacing - the chain for example).
And on any two stroker that has a high output, you have to replace the top-end of the engine occasionally, which I suppose is the main difference from a four-stroker. That is a bit complicated, if you haven't done it before.
The two strokes are more powerfull and can create more fun, if you like / want speed and acceleration that is. You must expect more garagetime though. That means only young tossers, like myself, would use one for day to day transportation..
Sound is a matter of taste. Personally, i think they sound absolutely mental. Great! :D
But I must agree, the old Mito looks way better. The nose on this thing is bloody horrible..
Whether you like the sound of a 4 stroke or 2 stroke is a matter of taste, however, there's no denying that an unrestricted 125 2 stroke will kill an unrestricted 125 4 stroke. An unrestited 2 stroke 124 will produce almost twice is much power as an equivalent 4 stroke. You'll be luck to get 80mph out of a 4 stroke 125 (unrestricted) A 2 stroke can pull as much as 120mph (unrestricted)
I own an RS125 '06...after a ride on my mates Yamaha YZF-R125 I can say...screw 4 strokes...
If you own an RS125 or a Mito 125,put it in first rev it up to 7k RPM,shift,then again to 7,shift...and so again until you hit top gear...that's how 125 4 strokes feel...
I reali agree because i hate 125 4 strokes they sound rubbish and they are slow and pointless u buy a race rep togo fast and have thrills not 2 have an anoying air compresor sounding bike and slow, personaly i go for 2stroke 125 because the thrills and speed
@MRkallek91 4 strokes & 2 strokes are equal? CBR125 16bhp, MITO EVOLUTION 35bhp. Feel free to check on other bike specs you loser! There was also direct fuel injection on 2 strokes meaning less fumes than any 4 stroke, More power and a smoother ride. Oh and one last thing, I HAVE CHASED 750 4 strokes on my 250 2 stroke and they cant get away.
@MRkallek91 Some 4 strokes DO sound good, You see one take off, Go inside to make a cuppa, Come back outside and its still there! The wasp sound isn't to everyones taste but at least I'll get to my destination within the same DAY!!! I don't care if you think I'm an idiot but after reading your comments its pipe and slippers time of life for you matey. I'm addicted to 2 stroke power and I'm not the only one.
@pmfdude too right dude, fuck the keyboard warriors. 2stroke its a addiction. i started on a little ktm 85 and then rs125 then aprilia rs 250 i use for track. then a cr 500. . i can go all day. my friends have their 4t's but to be fair their nice. @kezrat123 Cheerz for the reply. Its true - Those that have 4strokes get bored and buy little sensible cars! Those that have ridden a half decent 2stroke NEVER go back. My mate has a Mille, Harley Fat Boy and a Ninja600. He still prefers his Aprillia RS250! Personally I dont give a shit if I sound like a wasp or hedge trimmer, Nobody will hear me for long as I'll be gone! Oh by the way I ride a Honda NSR250 MC18 and I had a Mito years back, They ROCK!
Not imo.. If driving in city or town or whatever, i prefer sound. Because you don't need much speed there. And 4-strokes go fast enough for speed limits on bigger roads.
And i personally enjoy 4-stroke sounds more than 2-stroke.
Well 125cc's are the only thing where it could bother. But I'm not that kind of driver in traffic. The top speed isn't very important for me. And you can reach 100km/h with most 4-stroke 125cc's too, so it's enough.

Biker16Madd 2 years ago 5
@Biker16Madd
BS.
4stoke has best future because honda wanted so.
Honda and 3 other big motor companies made a agreement that 2stroke technology won't be developped further.
If that agreement wasn't made we would have 500cc+ 2 strokes making over 145 hp at the wheel. ;)
epiphonesg007 1 year ago 3
@epiphonesg007 It would make more ponies than that.
mi2tom 10 months ago
@mi2tom
Maybe if it is developped enough like four-stroke's at the moment, it would do 160hp at the wheel. AT THE WHEEL.
Not the crankshaft, it loses quite a lot of ponies.. :p
