  • cool vid but dude at least get some faster paced classical, also there is tons of music out there people would love to get publicity with for free that would work much better

  • Apologize for Bach? Never.

  • nice music ------------joke

  • @NERFgunWARLORD - I know, YouTube, or I should say WMA, made me take the original music down for copyright.

  • You are probably thinking of the Lower T, which is still good fun but more manageable. On Cherry Creek you can use rafts but no oars. And you need to know what you are doing. A swim could be fatal. You definitely rope around Lumsden.

  • @robertLpayne Incorrect on the oars comment. As far as I know, all of the commercial rafting on Cherry Creek (currently by only two outfitters, Sierra Mac and All Outdoors) uses oar-paddle assist rafts.

  • @robertLpayne

Actually you typically only want an oar rig. Paddle boating is more work on everybody in a raft. It goes, just not as much fun as an oar/paddle combo. Love the quote from Lars(RIP) and Chuck though. Thanks for the vid!!!

  • is this the section that paddle boats can run too?

  • did any of the guys paddle a liquidlogic Gus?

  • This is the Cherry Creek in Cali right?

  • Correct

  • Where is Cherry Creek yo? I wanna paddle that shit!

  • "Cherry Creek" actually refers to a section of the Tuolumne river that is boated that is right above the more commonly-run class 4 section. The boaters actually put in on Cherry Creek itself (a major tributary of the Tuolumne), and boat about a mile until the confluence of Cherry Creek with the Tuolumne River. Due to upstream diversions from Hetch Hetchy Resivoir, most of the flow in the Tuolumne comes from Cherry Creek and not the main river.

The trip is awesome beyond belief!!!

  • Beautifully paddled and beautifully filmed. I know it was not your original choice, but I think the music was perfectly suited. The boating was as graceful and controlled as a dance, so much more enjoyable to watch than guys hucking falls, in my opinion. Paddle on!

  • Ha ha... my Dad is Chuck Stanley. I've never actually heard him say that, though...

  • Sorry about the Bach, but Warner Music Group claimed copyright on the audio I had originally used.

  • Is one of those boats a Dagger Approach at 4:02??? Cool vid...

  • Wavesport Habitat. Thanks!
