if you only want one minecart, place a powered rail right by a block. It will go the opposite way of the block. It's a lot easier.

thank you! i made my own and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just changed the redstone thing, instead of the torch i kept it with redstone.

At the station, I go backwards mostly when I press the button, and sometimes, my minecart just passes the station

I like this - a nice simple way to stop at stations - other systems I've seen have been hugely complicated, take up loads of space, and don't seem to work that well anyway!

And I love the minecart dispenser! :)

@gamingmonster98 well basically the torch is a redstone torch which helps power other blocks within a 1 block radius. The rail is a detector rail which powers the minecart, accelerating it. However, it to needs to be powered to work.
