Officer Ramp was killed by the Philadelphia Police. The philly police are nothing more than a gang. No forensics support that this officer was killed by move. Yes. Philadelphia Social services came to follow up on reports of child neglect, which is how the standoff started. When the police asked them to release the children, they refused. Lungyao, you probably mean well but I really don't think you understand the situation as it unfolded that day. The percussion bomb was meant to immobilize the MOVE members - who happen to have been armed to the teeth - without hurting the children that they had taken hostage and would not release. MOVE shot at the police from the windows of the house, and the police returned fire. What would you would expect to happen differently in a situation like that?
Mr. Bravo. Those children were not hostages. I suspect the goverment wanted to destroy th people and their families, and they succeeded. Still, you cannot defend the murder of those children by blaming the parents. The parents did not kill those children, the police did. Move may have shot at the police, but I'm sure the bomb dropped first. This is nothing new. Black neighborhoods were destroyed LEGALLY a century ago and people would blame the victims for daring to fight back.
The police didn't come to their home. Once you are evicted, it's no longer YOUR home. They broke the law and then opened fire on police trying to enforce the law. These cop killers deserve to rot in prison for what they've done.

You can actually see the bullhorns attached to the MOVE house in documented photos in which they terrorized neibors (black neibors who made complaints about them before the raid). And the ATF was not only on Koresh's property, they were on his roof when the first shots were fired. The MOVE had no property outside of a West Philly rowhouse.

You're confused. Officer Ramp was shot in the chest - he was wearing a bullet-proof vest, but lying on his stomach. The bullet entered diagonally just above the neckline of the vest.

Yes. Philadelphia Social services came to follow up on reports of child neglect, which is how the standoff started. When the police asked them to release the children, they refused. Then MOVE opened fire. I'm not sure what you call that, but I call it child endangerment for political purposes. Which is absolutely fucked.
And PS. lungyao1, the bomb the mayor ordered dropped was a percussion bomb meant to disable MOVE. The house only caught fire because MOVE had covered the roof with gasoline.

If the state wnted to help those children then why would they drop a bomb on them? Why did they shoot at them? If they knew the roof was covered in gas then why ignite it? Oh, they did not know? Lungyao, you probably mean well but I really don't think you understand the situation as it unfolded that day. The percussion bomb was meant to immobilize the MOVE members - who happen to have been armed to the teeth - without hurting the children that they had taken hostage and would not release. MOVE shot at the police from the windows of the house, and the police returned fire. What would you would expect to happen differently in a situation like that?

Mr. Bravo. Those children were not hostages. I suspect the goverment wanted to destroy th people and their families, and they succeeded. Still, you cannot defend the murder of those children by blaming the parents. The parents did not kill those children, the police did. Move may have shot at the police, but I'm sure the bomb dropped first. This is nothing new. Black neighborhoods were destroyed LEGALLY a century ago and people would blame the victims for daring to fight back.
