These official chipmunk songs were actually made in audacity. They covered it on the first movie special features on the DVD. They slow it down, record the vocals suuuuuuper slow, then they speed it back up to temp so it sounds natural but chipmunked.

It's impossible to get the REAL REAL voices by just lowering the pitch. Each person's voice was highened in a different way, for example, Theodore's and Eleanor's voices were pitched the most, while Simon's voice was pitched the least. You think that they put them all three together and made them sing and then just pitched everybody's voice the same amount? No, they didn't.

its impossible to do we are family real voices because when the chipettes voices are normal the chipmunks sound like demented girls, then when there voice sre normal the chipettes sound like men!!!!!

@sugar2207 Acually,it is possible.If you use Audacity,you can the select the amount of audio you wish to edit in a song.For example,you can the select the Chipette part and pitch it down to the real voice,and do that for the Chipmunk part,except lower,so you have both correct pitches in the same song.It's sounds complicated,but it's really easy to do.I can upload it on my new account,ChipetteQueen,if you want.
