LOL, ah man. Classic review. The transformation back into truck is always fun. The night I got him, I actually tried for about 30 minutes WITHOUT using the instructions before giving in. I soon realized that the alignment of the 30 shoulder joints and hinges have to be perfect for the cab to form properly.

you forgot to turn down the grey pipes on the back and the back shoulder panels peg into place, and the blue parts on the back of the legs can pop out some to make the legs appear beefier. great review as always, i bought this prime as soon as they released the ROTF figures, this prime did have posable fingers if you look closely at the box art, but it was cut out due to costs i guess. most movie accurate figure though.

all of them took mostly 10 minutes to review. The transformation is terrible. And the sad thing is, the transformation is accurate to the movie.

(The day still awaits when transformer toys can transform on themself...)

yup, the smokestacks can be rotated down and pegged to the gas tank, so it wouldn't be that visible from the front..the V back panels should be wider so they can be pegged at the back (rectangular holes) to make them more stable (along with the fenders).

Josh nice review. Sucks that the conversion to truck took so much time. It took me really long as well but after a couple times it gets easier and faster. Btw the reason why his backpack looked too high up in botmode, is because part of the smokestacks that end up on his back need to be rotated below the fuel tanks.

I really hope you're joking about downing him to an 8. The transformation back to truck mode isn't that hard. It's really over-exaggerated in difficulty, and with a little practice you can get him back to truck in under 5 minutes.

I just got my Leader Class ROTF Optimus Prime yesterday, and when I took him out of the box and transformed him into truck mode, I was fearing for my life. I dunno if I was scared of breakin' the figure or me breaking! Also, word of advice on the wheels. 2 of the rear wheels pop out in vehicle mode to aline with the back ones. That might help a little. Also, holy crap you're a Jeff Dunham fan?! I LOVE JEFF!!! Your Achmed impression is great!
