I was working with a general contractor as a summer job when I was 13, and I didn't realize that even after you disconnect a nail gun from the air supply, there is actually some air left in the inner workings of the unit. Was tapping the safety to see how it made the nail come out when it was pressed again the wall and pulled the trigger. It was amazing how little it hurt, I was more confused then scared. Pulling it out on the other hand was bloody murder, it was scarping against shattered bone.

Did it at 7 am and was pissed I wouldn't get anything done, so I pulled it out, blood started squirting all over so I put my fingers over it. I found a bandana and a clean cloth, wrapped it real tight and finished the day. The bone ached for a few days but it healed.

Did it bleed like crazy when you pulled it out? mine didnt bleed until i yanked it with pair of pliers than it shot blood a few feet out (i was on a scaffold framing the peak of a house). I noticed people asking why its not bleeding and thats because the hole is plugged with a nail not because its fake lol. I didnt even realize I was shot for a few seconds because my finger numbed its self and it wasnt bleeding until i pulled the nail out.
