Me da una hueva,flojera,pereza como usar el youtube es para criticar y estar comparando bandas..tan sencillo ninguna banda puede ser 100 % original por q tienen influencias, para hacer musica se tiene uno que inspirar en alguien o en alguienes, hay bandas que son mezcla de varios y logran su propio o un estilo muy particular, en conclusion White lies es una buena banda, como crei que ya no saldrian, si bien hay muchas copias de copias de otras bandas, creo White lies tiene mucho q ofrecer...

The JD comparison comes fron the pacey rythms, the baratone vocal, and the songs dark themes, like death ect. Their overall sound is far removed from JD and is more reminicent of the Goth bands of the early eighties, such as Sisters of Mercy, The Cult and Echo and the Bunneymen. Regardless of their musical ancestry, they're a great band in their own right.

people should stop comparing any deep voice singer and dark sounding band to joy division. white lies, stellastar, interpol etc. give it a rest. white lies is awesome. everyone here's the references of music according to what they listened to before doesn't mean this newer artist are copy cats. get off the high horse. :) I like 'em.

you cant compare white lies to joy division. joy division are like no other. white lies may sound a tad like them,but shouldnt be compared to joy division. i love them both tho

ian curtis was amazing.

joy division are one of the greatest bands of all time, amd i'm not talking about love will tear us apart because it may be the most famou song, but its no where near their best.

white lies clearly did get alot of inspiration from them.

but i do like white lies, just not as good joy division :)
