  • my pom does this too... we arent really sure, vet said it may be from excitement or drinking water too fast

  • My pom was doing this and my vet thinks it may be trachea problems.

  • This is definitely reverse sneezing...

  • my dog does this

  • MY 14 year old Chichuiua just started doing this 2 days ago. It scare the heck out of me, but when I hold him and rub his throat, and then I just talk to him, it seems to go away. He is doing somewhat better today, but if it persist I will have him at the vet asap.

The person princehyphys801, you shoudl be a little me senitive, the person is asking for help she is not being neglecting. Why would you even say such a thing. People are looking for help not insults. Your wrong!

  • @yorkielover35 My Pomeranian never does that, neither do any of my other dogs. If you call that normal that maybe your neglecting your own dog, thing should always be check. I mean you would go to the doctor and find out what was wrong if you were doing that right??? Then why shouldn't our furkids be treated the same?

  • it's reversed sneezing, asthma is more of a problem you see in cats.

  • Get a chest x-ray. My 1 month old puppy was mis diagnosed by six vets. He almost died until the x-ray showed pnuemonia and pluerisy. Antibiotics, oxygen therapy and prayers worked. He has no symptoms now and he was having episodes identical to your puppy.

  • I have a three month old Papillon/Maltese mix. He was diagnosed w/ a collapsing trachea and asthma. It turned out to be Double pnuemonia and pluerisy. Please request a chest x-ray. Vets guess just like us. My dog is fine no after a month of Zithro and Batril anitbiotic and neubulizer treatments. I will say a prayer for your baby.

  • Mine does it for like 30 seconds then stops.

  • So adorable! Poor baby.

  • my pomeranian puppy has this too! I am going t oshow this to my vet tommorrow and see what he thinks it is.

  • mine does the same thing!! i thought it was a collapsed trachea at first, or maybe bronchitis but my vet said it's normal for some poms.. especally as pups.. it's cuz their throats are so small.. do you use a harness instead of a collar?? be sure to cuz a normal collar can collapse their tiny lil necks.. cute lil baby!!!

  • @porcelain100 yesss i thought it was the same thing ! :(

&& yes hes toooooo adorable :D
