Often hip hop, r&b artists and female soloists do great studio work but just can't perform. Kelis is a huge exception. She's all I look for in a performer. She doesn't try to carbon-copy her studio work. She plays with a full band. She can actually sing and she puts on a great show. This isn't the best cover ever, but each time I hear from Kelis I'm more impressed.
