stormBIGbowling: No, your axis isn't weird at all, but it actually a common axis point. Mike's Axis is weird because of how low his PAP is. When someone has a PAP of 3 1/2 that usually means that they are toping the ball or spinning it. Mike's is 3 1/2, but he doesn't spin it and he covers a lot of the balls surface. Just his release makes his PAP odd for the reves he has.
but the purpose of the sarge is to lower your revs (good for robert smith =]) and change your axis rotation. so i guess if it benefits you, then it works
I throw a sarge-easter grip it helps more with controlling your rev rate and your breakpoint rather than your axis tilt. It can affect your axis tilt to an extent, it helps me stay behind the ball and reduce my axis tilt, increasing my roll. I use it lot when I need to produce more roll on oil, or, in some cases, reduce my rev rate on dry conditions. Full fingertip grip on middle finger, conventional on ring finger.
I couldn't see the arrows really but was Duke playing 7 to 8? That would be a pretty sweet line, that usually works on really oiled house shots for guys like me, but if you pulled it for the Shark Pattern, i'm assuming you would leave either the big 4 or w/e
You gotta hand it to Duke, Duke played a shot that probably no one suggests playing on Shark and dominated everyone on that show hands down. I wouldn't say most of Duke's shots were lucky, and all the other bowlers had trouble getting the ball into a nice roll into the pocket.
i think u need 2 watch this video again. duke was hitting the pocket constantly in every match on this show. fagan had many shots were his ball came back to the pocket too late. duke threw much better shots.
If you call anything but high flush lucky, then yes norm duke was lucky... but the fact is that is not the case... in the beginning of the match, fagan couldn't put together a double and went light twice in a row and the ball was not in the same entry as duke's light hits were.. they were a good board to 2 lighter..

alright that is another problem for me is staying behind the ball. Is it worth a try or not?
vvsswingawayc9 3 years ago
@ExitThirteen it barely effects rev rate

Duke got so lucky on most of his shots. Fagan should have won , plus fagan had the best ball, and was hitting the pocket perfectlly
