Why don't people just go out and buy a can? I know $5 can be hard to come by these days and all... but just do what most people do. Buy a can, spray it on something, and see.
I would have elevated that case panel. That would prevent any bridging between the panel and the work surface. It also gives a bit more room for the bottom of the can allowing you to keep it more upright.
I can't believe I went this long without stopping by my own channel. Yes, in fact it does turn out to be very rubbery. It is in fact, a rubberized coating, not a paint. It feels really cool when you layy it really thick on a surface and push on it. This stuff is awesome!
I think there are quite a few people who were waiting to see the results after dry, me included. is the result a thin rubbery plastic? How does it adhere to each of the different surfaces ie does it peel off easily after some friction? If on a handle does it rip and peel after gripping? How does it adhere on smooth plastic ie if you want to cover plastic that has lead? Sorry for the questions - I just imagine other viewers might have these in mind. Thanks for the video!
Nice video on the Plasti Dip! Hey do you think this would work to paint screw heads? It seems to be a very durable / flexible finish... just a thought.

This does sound like a genuinely useful idea for, say, a CD drive.
Does it cushion the drive's vibrations, if it's in a clip-in case?
