heavens...please grant me a pair of lungs like Regine so I can sing like that. That had to be the most intense 46 seconds of perfect high-notes singing I've heard. Amazing how her vocals are intact and still full even at those extreme upper ranges. The high notes are so focused and resonate with so much volume. No squeezed or forced throat sound at all.

For someone who's been singing for almost 25 years with heavy belting songs, it's amazing how Regine has managed to maintain the crystal clear quality of her voice. It might be slightly deeper than when she was younger, which is natural when one gets older, but clean quality of her voice remains. Not to mention her vocal power which is just as strong as when she was 20. Walang kakupas-kupas talaga ang galing nitong si Regine. She actually gets better with age. Amazing.

she's not a mariah wannabe, hello, she sings mariah songs, and she admits she is a mariah fan, but her voice is different from mariah, it just so happen that a fan is better than her idol. LOL! regine is not whistling, she can belt and reach a whistle register using a chest. and that is something extra orinary. regine is original. charice is a regine copycat. it is obviously heard.

True, one artist will never be like another, as each is unique. But to suggest that Charice cannot match or even exceed Regine's skills is not fair to say off hand. Charice is just starting out herself, while Regine has had quite a run in the music industry and the accolades to prove it. But until we can actually look back at each career in its entirety for each respective artist, we can't begin to make such claims as you have, 5octaves.

heavens...please grant me a pair of lungs like Regine so I can sing like that. That had to be the most intense 46 seconds of perfect high-notes singing I've heard. Amazing how her vocals are intact and still full even at those extreme upper ranges. The high notes are so focused and resonate with so much volume. No squeezed or forced throat sound at all.

For someone who's been singing for almost 25 years with heavy belting songs, it's amazing how Regine has managed to maintain the crystal clear quality of her voice. It might be slightly deeper than when she was younger, which is natural when one gets older, but clean quality of her voice remains. Not to mention her vocal power which is just as strong as when she was 20. Walang kakupas-kupas talaga ang galing nitong si Regine. She actually gets better with age. Amazing.

True, one artist will never be like another, as each is unique. But to suggest that Charice cannot match or even exceed Regine's skills is not fair to say off hand. Charice is just starting out herself, while Regine has had quite a run in the music industry and the accolades to prove it. But until we can actually look back at each career in its entirety for each respective artist, we can't begin to make such claims as you have, 5octaves.
