Holy crap color me impressed. This guy has FOOTBALL speed, I love his deceptiveness on deep routes as well as his ability to catch in tight coverage. Could be the next Desean Jackson/Robert Jordan. Welcome to Cal!
While Cal dropped the ball this year in recruiting, our WR class is stacked. Lawler, Treggs, Dozier, Powe, and Harper. That is an amazing haul. Welcome to Cal Kenny!
Sooo much speed, hope he enjoyed watching our basketball team take care of Cal enough to commit. 1-2 years of him with Wilson and Tuel and at least 3 with Gabriel Marks is so fun to think about. GO COUGS!
Per Greg Biggins' twitter: "My top five schools in order are Cal, Oregon State, Michigan State, UCLA and ASU." Not sure if Cal has room for him, it will depend if Cal gets Jordan Payton or not, as well as Stefon Diggs. Regardless, hope Lawler has lots of success at the college level. Go Bears!
ASU!! This makes sense. We're graduating 4 senior receivers. He'll get tons of playing time in a great system (unlike Nebraska, who's quarterbacks would rather run than throw).
No offense to Rojo and DJax but Lawler is 6'3". He's the Keenan Allen mold.

Wow! Lawler would be incredible in Leach's system. Imagine him running 4 verticals on about half of the plays.
