@2LateIWon ..Yeah I did it that way so the ground wire would effectively be held in place on it's short run.. When I do all this stuff, my brain is working over time to figure out the BEST way to do something.. Welcome for the shout out.
great video ron, the lights look great, you will have to do a night drive with it win your all done. id kill for the weather you have down there, lol.
@ptokish .. I think most people in the Northern States would be in a Race to Kill for OUR Weather.. I don't know about a night drive but, I will for sure do something with the lights after Dark. Thanks Phil
@farmall51 .. My videos are always Impromptu ( for you people in Rio Linda, that means un-scripted ) so I was just grabbing names out of thin air.. There are several others that I missed. That does not make YOU any less important. Thanks Matt
Great job with those lights Ron!!! I love the ground idea.... gives me a idea for a project I got. Thanks for the shout out!!! :) We got snow so the Allis B is plowing snow again. The Ollie looks great! Keep up the great work on it.
@colliesntractors .. Thanks Chuck.. Be Careful on the Grounding if you're dealing with the reverse battery set up.. It can Boggle your mind at times... Please send some E-mail to Rio Linda, and explain Boggle to them.
Hi Ron! lol I wish it was warm like that here. Actually it's been a pretty warm winter with little snow. The loop in the wire could also be called a "drip loop" for water to run off.
@edzgarage .. That's Exactly right.. I never thought about the drip loop since that wasn't the reason I looped it down there. Used many drip loops over the years... Define Warm? LOL
@mbyr31 .Thank You Sir.. I have been spending a bunch of time on it, and the Farmall is probably feeling Neglected. Need to get it out and run down the road a mile or so..
@805ROADKING .. hahahaha, yeah for what ever reason, I was moving all around on that bar.. On the flip side, it's better than standing there motionless like a Funeral Director..
I wish it was 64 here. I had to transplant the fuel pump in my plow truck today in about -13c. It sucked lol. Looking good , your almost done painting.
@ShawnCFarm .. my Best guess is, that's about 27º F and too cold for a fuel pump job.. If it was "GAS" that makes it worse because gas adds to the Cold with it's Evaporation rate.. I am about 93% done with the painting. :o)
Glad its nice and warm out for ya. I was outside today and thought it felt warm. I looked at the thermometer and it was all the way up to 24 degrees!! lol
@ethanvdavis .. That's a bit chilly man.. Course if you're dressed in 8 layers of clothes, then it doesn't take much to think it's warm.. We will be up close to 80º later this week..
I can't believe 6 volt got a shout out but I didn't. That's messed up. I thought we were friends Ronald.

Did you use 14 or 16 gauge wire?
slowride55 1 month ago
@slowride55 .. that is 14.. 16 would be fine.. There are other reasons why I used 14..
vidman008 1 month ago
@vidman008 I figured it was one of those. Just wondering.

The lites should have been grounded when you bolt them up unless they have a ground wire.
