I think Michael was talking about the scene where Ben shoots Locke and then leaves him in a ditch to die. Anyways, Emerson and Mitchell rock. They are both amazing actors and Ben & Juliet are one of the most interesting relationships on the show IMO.
Well, when I've watched this episode, OMG, that scene was geeeeeenious. But Michael maked the scene really more emotional than it would be, know, it was perfect. His... Face, his voice, even his body was em harmony with the scene. He's... He's really genious.
What Ben is feeling for Juliet, that is not love. I think that Juliet looks like his mother and maybe he feels guilty about the way how his mother died. So, Ben is trying to fix up somethings from the past I think...
Before seeing this, I thought the idea of Ben in love was corny. Mr. Emerson is a genius.
I don't understand how anyone could act Ben's part with a straight face. I almost wanted to laught the first time I saw it but if you look at his face, he looks totally serious. Kind of spooky, but also the only good part of this episode. I love it!
very good scene because of the characters and the acting. can anyone clue me into the 'other scene' that michael was referring to? one where he lost it?

Annie? Who was Annie?

Ben's childhood friend. We see her in his flashback episode "The Man Behind the Curtain".

it would either be when ben gassed his dad or when he shot Locke, mostly likely shooting Locke since - "because you heard him" :-P

Juliet does look like his mother. But I wonder if it has anything to do with the mysterious Annie, maybe?

Probably she reminds him of his mother
