I was coming back from a bonfire one night in a remote location out in the wilderness. I started playing this song while I was driving along the winding roads, gradually getting closer to town. As I began to see the sprawling lights of the city, the choir kicked in. You would not believe the chills I got from that experience!
Very off topic, but I have accidentally subscribed to this channel (and many others), and even though I always unsubscribe immediately, the "Subscribed" thing always come up every time I click one of these videos. I find it extremely annoying, so how on Earth do I get rid of it?
I listened to this after hearing the news of my grandmother's death. She was a very intelligent and successful women who was kind and loving and I'll never forget her. This song makes my heart fill with happiness and it will always remind me of her and the wonderful life she lived.
Globus will release a new album this summer called "break from this world" and one of the songs (Elegy) will be a reorchestration of this song. It will be epic, make sure you check it out.
I personally think this is one of the better immediate pieces. The song itself is hope and determination. The few instruments in the beginning start quiet, but strong like the will of man or and individual. As other instruments and voices join the ensemble, the will only becomes even stronger and grows in beauty. It may not be epic, but I feel like this is one of few peices with true emotion tied to it.
This is one of Immediate's pieces that isn't as much epic as it is heroic (But still really f*&%$#! cool!). It's like the greatest battle just ended and we were victorious and now everyone is celebrating.

I just saw this in Chris Ignatov's latest animation for this webcomic. Great song, it truly feels like something amazing is about to be discovered then a burst of melodic sound that shows that an impeccable achievement has been accomplished.

My imagination (or one of many!) is that you walk/climb up to the top of a great hill, and when you reach the top you see great plains and mountains and rivers.

When he learns that he will soon be killed in order to remove the final link to the truth, he passes on his secret to his student, a little boy named Solon, who sets out on a quest to save the Teacher's knowledge from being lost forever.
This reminds me of the childrens' story, "Weslandia". Look it up: it's a great story about a boy who creates his own civilization because he doesn't fit into the one he was raised in.
your ashes won't contribute to the fireworks - you won't be reduced to gunpowder - so that is pretty pointless. why not just get buried and have them shoot off some fireworks?
what is the point? it is completely pointless to put your ashes into fireworks. it's something that - without any reflection - "sounds" cool. then if you think about for more than 2 seconds, you realize how absurd it is.
Why do you care? It doesn't sound so stupid to me? Why do you think it's pointless. Firework can be really pretty, it goes high in the sky, people love it and I think it's a good way for the people you leave behind to say goodbye.
@kleinewaise I don't really know now.... This song was composed in a major key but the "Surrender to Hope" was obviously in the neighborhood of a minor key...which would then match the occasion of a funeral.... Gah!!!! So confusing!! But both songs are sweet!
Trailerhead is an album by Immediate music. It is mostly a remix/combination of existing works. Musch of their music is for trailers so they tend to be less than a minute and a half in length. Trailerhead is composed largely of remix combining two works.
This is my favorite song in the entire world. When I am having a bad day at school, I just whip out my MP3 player and go straight to this song; and the very second I hear it start, regardless of how soft it is, I already feel like I have seen the light at the end of a dark tunnel. I think what makes this such a great song is, for one, how well it was written (gave me tears); and, the fact that it counters the other 'angry' songs with its hope-inspiring notes. This reminds me of the childrens' story, "Weslandia". Look it up: it's a great story about a boy who creates his own civilization because he doesn't fit into the one he was raised in.

your ashes won't contribute to the fireworks - you won't be reduced to gunpowder - so that is pretty pointless. why not just get buried and have them shoot off some fireworks?

what is the point? it is completely pointless to put your ashes into fireworks. it's something that - without any reflection - "sounds" cool. then if you think about for more than 2 seconds, you realize how absurd it is.

Why do you care? It doesn't sound so stupid to me? Why do you think it's pointless. Firework can be really pretty, it goes high in the sky, people love it and I think it's a good way for the people you leave behind to say goodbye.

@kleinewaise I don't really know now.... This song was composed in a major key but the "Surrender to Hope" was obviously in the neighborhood of a minor key...which would then match the occasion of a funeral.... Gah!!!! So confusing!! But both songs are sweet!

Trailerhead is an album by Immediate music. It is mostly a remix/combination of existing works. Musch of their music is for trailers so they tend to be less than a minute and a half in length. Trailerhead is composed largely of remix combining two works.

This is my favorite song in the entire world. When I am having a bad day at school, I just whip out my MP3 player and go straight to this song; and the very second I hear it start, regardless of how soft it is, I already feel like I have seen the light at the end of a dark tunnel. I think what makes this such a great song is, for one, how well it was written (gave me tears); and, the fact that it counters the other 'angry' songs with its hope-inspiring notes. Truly great comment there, friend :). I agree with everything you say, except when i think of the light at the end of the tunnel i usually look more ahead than the light for that day. Also, i like this one euqally with generations, or maybe generations even more than this. These songs are just...unearthly... literally...
