I am a law-abiding gun owner. I have passed the requirements to obtain a concealed carry permit in the State of Florida. I do not want to register my guns! Why does anyone need to know what I have? I would agree with you except that the divide isn't between "liberals" and "conservatives" it is between democrats and republicans. Democrats aren't liberal and republicans aren't conservative; the former is just worthless while the latter is insane. I heard from someone that the divide between political camps hasn't been this bad since before the civil war. The amusing thing is that I think people would agree on a majority of issues, they are just being divided by propaganda and idiocy.

My issue is spending.
My solution, fire every toolbag in Washington... Every last one of them. Democrat, Republican, whatever and then don't replace them.
That will also solve my backup issue, which is having them leave us alone and stop spending trillions of dollars on stuff that has absolutely no effect on our quality of life.

Are you serious? The reason why our founding fathers erected a constitution is BECAUSE the original confederacy failed. They needed a federal government to improve foreign affairs, commerce and to ascertain that certain rights would not be taken away by an individual state. It has always been a constitutional republic.

I am a law-abiding gun owner. I have passed the requirements to obtain a concealed carry permit in the State of Florida. I do not want to register my guns! Why does anyone need to know what I have? It will do absolutely nothing to curb crime. Just look at D.C., Chicago, NY, etc. Criminals are not going to register their guns. The only thing that registration could be used for is eventual confiscation.
