@wais910 The Basij were the ones hurting normal Iranians - Burning cars and starting fires was to protect the defenseless people from the tear gas being shot by the armed Basij forces. If the good for nothing government would allow the people to gather and not have the police and guards attack the people, it would have been peaceful. As far as Ashura goes, I was there. What would Imam Hossein do for his beliefs? We were walking the path of Imam Hossein not talking about it. Allaho Akbar.
