I have seen many horsepower freaks turbocharged E46 M3 putting down 700 wheel HP royally kicking Supra's a** with similar horsepower. Once you turbocharge the E46, there is nothing stopping it.

More displacement, a much higher rev limit with the ability to rev over 8000 rpm. The horsepower freaks turbocharged M3's are the one to beat.

Funny thing is they have a much less turbo lag and way more daily drivable than the Supra tanks.

Yea completely.. I just spend 10k on going single turbo with custom exhaust, manifold and external gate. But it does depend. if your talkin 1000hp reliable.. its gonna cost ya 50 or whatever for all internal work etc but if ya just slap a t88 with the right supporting mods you could do it cheaper
