She leaves behind a husband (a former worship pastor from my church), & two young daughters & many family & friends. She was just about to turn 37. A lot of hearts are heavy right now. @sugarlandluver I actually lost another friend this past summer. Her name is Kerry. She lived with Cystic Fibrosis, but I never heard her complain. She was an inspiration too, & she loved & I mean LOVED Jesus with all her heart. She's at peace too.

I found out i had cancer when i was only 22yrs old that was almost 3yrs ago since then i have had surgery and chemo and i'm now fully recoverd and have been cancer free for 2yrs ! all thanks to our wondeful god. so stay strong bcuz god can pull you out of the darkness.

i was steering away from christianity because i thought why would God allow something like this to happen. 2 days later i got hit by a car, and died for a brief moment. although i don't remember what happened or what i saw, i changed my life. i had a revelation, and a sudden feeling of comfort, i felt confident that my little brother was with God.
@1987patu, I am so sorry for your loss! That must have been terrible. Today, October 11, is the day I lost my grandma. Its been a year now. My family isn't the same. She was the glue that held us together and, now that she is no longer with us, our family is...not really a family anymore. She had breast cancer 20 years ago. After 6 years of treatment, she was considered "cured" but almost 14 years later, it came back in her bones. She battled to the very end. She was a fighter. I miss her lots.

He did this so that all people have the opportunity to come to him and put their faith in him. Finding a church that is right for you, but still have strong Biblical messages is very important. But what is more important is your personal faith. Bible study, prayer. If you have not read much from the Bible, start at Romans and work your way back, then read the gospels.

New LivingTranslation(NLT) for you. It flows nice, easy to understand, and it is still accurate. Then you could start reading from the NIV, NASB, ESV, and others once you get used to reading more. After reading the gospels, read Acts. Also Pray more, it'll help. :)

God's Grace is amazing, It's all about freedom, about love, about knowing that we are better than what we once were. Not because we have changed, but because we have been forgiven, and forgiveness causes change, forgiveness is being free from our pasts no matter what is in them. Grace is about liberty for the captives and freedom for the prisoners of sin and unforgiveness. It truly is Amazing!!

@sugarlandluver I just lost my friend Amy to breast cancer tonight. She fought a long battle of 9 yrs. She leaves behind a husband (a former worship pastor from my church), & two young daughters & many family & friends. She was just about to turn 37. A lot of hearts are heavy right now. I'm sorry about your friend!

@sugarlandluver I actually lost another friend this past summer. Her name is Kerry. She lived with Cystic Fibrosis, but I never heard her complain. She was an inspiration too, & she loved & I mean LOVED Jesus with all her heart. She's at peace too.

@1987patu Im so sorry to hear about ur g/f but she is in a better place we are the one's stuck in a world full of pain and sarrow....
I found out i had cancer when i was only 22yrs old that was almost 3yrs ago since then i have had surgery and chemo and i'm now fully recoverd and have been cancer free for 2yrs ! all thanks to our wondeful god. so stay strong bcuz god can pull you out of the darkness.

@1987patu something happened like that to me, but it was my younger brother. he was only 10 ='(
i was steering away from christianity because i thought why would God allow something like this to happen. 2 days later i got hit by a car, and died for a brief moment. although i don't remember what happened or what i saw, i changed my life. i had a revelation, and a sudden feeling of comfort, i felt confident that my little brother was with God.

@1987patu, I am so sorry for your loss! That must have been terrible. Today, October 11, is the day I lost my grandma. Its been a year now. My family isn't the same. She was the glue that held us together and, now that she is no longer with us, our family is...not really a family anymore. She had breast cancer 20 years ago. After 6 years of treatment, she was considered "cured" but almost 14 years later, it came back in her bones. She battled to the very end. She was a fighter. I miss her lots.

Most beautiful song I have heard so far. Only song that can bring a knot to my throat and where I can't speak. I'm hoping to sing this song and play piano as well in my church during offering. I'm SOOO close to hitting the highest notes in the chorus without my voice cracking.

@browntr95 Amazing Grace broke my heart, I identified with those in chains, captured, un-forgiven, I live in the South, where it was OK to treat black fokes with dissrespect,where, I was alright with the way "those" in power said "it was ok" to treat ppl. with disstain, my heart breaks now, for following the crowd, my heart melts, I am so sorry for my part, may God forgive me!!!!

@pkrprodigy777 - When Christ died, he broke the only grip satan had on us, Death, because Christ overcame it. He did this so that all people have the opportunity to come to him and put their faith in him. Finding a church that is right for you, but still have strong Biblical messages is very important. But what is more important is your personal faith. Bible study, prayer. If you have not read much from the Bible, start at Romans and work your way back, then read the gospels.

@pkrprodigy777 - In addition to my previous comment. - If you read this way, it will get you used to the Biblical text and language and also Paul's letters will give you an overview of Christ's mission and purpose. I recommend the
New LivingTranslation(NLT) for you. It flows nice, easy to understand, and it is still accurate. Then you could start reading from the NIV, NASB, ESV, and others once you get used to reading more. After reading the gospels, read Acts. Also Pray more, it'll help. :)

No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6... He believes in you... Confess that Jesus is God and that He came to earth as human and God in one. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins and rose 3 days later... He wants to know you... Get a bible and get plugged into a church... Remember, Jesus loves You...
