How interesting. I'm just hearing about Shinkai Mokoto and this is the first work of his I've ever seen. It does make you think, this short film, but I'm kind of stumped. LOL, I did enjoy it tho :3

I always love his work... he's a really great animator.

I love the 3:27 - 3:30 with just a sentence with no picture it already deliver the feeling that her heart is in pain.

and also like 4:27 - 4:37 when the girl and the cat said the same thing.

Real beautiful story, the cat loves the woman but he can't do anything, the cat can't even comfort her when she feels down.

I also thought it was real cute how the cat got a girl friend also. mimi.. :D

Also if I remember correctly that is Mr Shinkai narrating the video. I really admire him for doing all this alone.

Kanojo to kanojo no neko... I love it! I've even made italian subtitles for this anime.

I think I've seen it about 100 times.

With Byousoku, but in a different way, this is my favourite Shinkai.
