Here's a rough translation for the other non-frenchies: " You dirty bastard! And on top of that you are happy to take them to the abbatoire. Go fat pig, up your ars!!"
Hmmm. Yes we're happy, they were well cared for, healthy animals, and they filled our freezer with delicious meat. Go hug a carrot or something.
I run about 50 beef cow/calf pairs, butcher 2 year old steers, and run everyone thru the chute twice a year for worming and vaccines. Never used a prod even once, never needed to.
@theleverbeef You probably have a proper chute, trailer, and loading area set up if you are running that many animals. If you read the description, we are hobby farmers using tube gates and a pony trailer so the prod is necessary.
Beautiful countryside you live in! Mind me asking where it is? And I appreciate someone understanding that we are the predator and they are the prey. Their is nothing wrong with this chain, as long as they are well cared for up until that point. That is a nice little operation you have there, much like our own :)
@fatboy65able becauce they wont go in the trailer on there own free will for any reason on this earth!! you have to have squeeze gates and shocker so they run in with their mind off.........
@mallarchy ROFL! Whatcha talkin' about? That boy is a jeen-yus. ;p He's actually pretty darn smart, but you'd never know it by watching most of our videos.
@joedog636 They have more bone and less muscle than meat breeds, but since cattle tend to build frame first, then fill out, then fatten up last there is little point in getting a true meat animal since we eat them so young anyways.
@mallarchy Haha No worries, that was the funniest comment I've read in a while. He is definately his own kind of special, I'm just surprised you're the first to have pointed it out!
Were those full-sized cows? My buddy keeps telling me I should get some but I thought they would be bigger than that. Those don't look so bad... or mean.
@buckstarchaser yes they are a full size breed holstein, but they are young yearling not quite fully grown. they would get much bigger but we harvest them at about 600-700 lbs. very good tasting heavy veal...very yummy :)
@MsKaylee100 hello these cows went to a local butcher were they feel no pain...they use a special firing pin which upon firing at the appropriate location on the head turns the cow off like a switch...so to speak...
you guys are so funny...up north lol. Anyway, you have the life! I hope I can do that someday. Send me a personal message if you can, and we can talk about how to start doing what you do :)

tophersean3, your comment was deleted for foul language. Thanks for the tips, but they would have been more appreciated without the F-bomb.
