Ha HA very true my friend, cookie to you, but what I meant was that the practices of roman theatre started before the founding of rome, I think, I don't know it's been a while since I made this xD
@MagisterJacobs There is no founding date that is considered acurrate. Every date has been questioned, however, all documentation agrees on some date around 700 BC or earlier.
@decidedvoter08 There may not be a 100% accurate date; however, the traditional date is and always will be considered 753 B.C., which archaeology has proven to be fairly accurate as well.
@decidedvoter08 There is no documentation that can be considered accurate. The date of 753 BC is not considered accurate as the dating comes from mythological and fictitious re-writting of history to link the Julian line that of Romulus. It has far too much baggage to be seen as accurate today. Must archeologists recoginise that Rome was probably founded earlier than the 753 date.
this is so great!!! thank you! im using this as a clip in my Roman Theatre Project! (no worries, we give a source page) THANK YOU :DD
