I probably have the best manual gearbox in the world, in a honda F24C S2000 but I still find the gearbox slow and lazy sometimes. Nothing can match the speed of ferrari's box, everything else seems archeologic to me! And ferrari is much faster! ...they might be almost as fast on a circuit but ferrari is on normal road tyres! with competition tyres it will be faster than every supercar in production, really fast and rewarding on the limit. Its so far ahead of everything to pick it against porsche

@MrPorsche91730 Why? EVO featured the GT3RS in its car of the year group test against much more powerful cars, more expensive cars and the 458 Italia too. Guess what? the GT3RS beat all comers.
That's the thing with EVO. They don't make a big thing about numbers, but of the pleasure of driving and owning a car, and things like steering feel and throttle adjust-ability are more valued than 1/4 mile and lap times.

@ unsaint: u wrong, exiting a corner u get LOWER traction. that's why the car slide so much.why is that so hard to get? it's simple physics! with a big engine in the ending rear of the car it's like driving like having a cow in the trunk. it works like a pendulum. the car get unbalanced. of course this aplies when u are racing on yhe limit with other cars with an central engine position, wich is the proven best. if u are racing with yourself alone u win your own race and say ur have the best !
People like Paris Hilton buy the 458 whereas all the true drivers buy the RS. I would love to own the RS, the electronics in it don't interfere as much as the Ferraris do and I don't care if the duel clutch means the car will be faster as I prefer the manual gearbox and always will.

@bingrasm with the engine in the back, you have better traction from a standing start and greater traction exiting a corner. It requires a different type of driving.
The 458 italia is another league both in price and performance. That said, I would rather have the GT3 RS on a track and work for every tenth of a second a lap. The GT3 RS 4.0 would be a dream track car.

I probably have the best manual gearbox in the world, in a honda F24C S2000 but I still find the gearbox slow and lazy sometimes. Nothing can match the speed of ferrari's box, everything else seems archeologic to me! And ferrari is much faster! ...they might be almost as fast on a circuit but ferrari is on normal road tyres! with competition tyres it will be faster than every supercar in production, really fast and rewarding on the limit. Its so far ahead of everything to pick it against porsche

The Porsche 911 is to me, an old hat on a new stage, it brings nothing new in terms of innovation, creativity, flair to the sector. @MrPorsche91730 Why? EVO featured the GT3RS in its car of the year group test against much more powerful cars, more expensive cars and the 458 Italia too. Guess what? the GT3RS beat all comers.
That's the thing with EVO. They don't make a big thing about numbers, but of the pleasure of driving and owning a car, and things like steering feel and throttle adjust-ability are more valued than 1/4 mile and lap times.

When you push your car to the absolute limit and get yourself into trouble, you can sometimes long for the control of a clutch. But the shifts of the Ferrari are wonderful...

Admittedly, there is a stigma that people who drive Ferraris are clueless rich douches. However, to deny yourself the chance of owning one of the most evocative car brand in the world just out of fear of what other people is thinking is unforgivable imo...Racing is still very much in the DNA of every Ferrari, they just took another direction implementing it their product. @ unsaint: u wrong, exiting a corner u get LOWER traction. that's why the car slide so much.why is that so hard to get? it's simple physics! with a big engine in the ending rear of the car it's like driving like having a cow in the trunk. it works like a pendulum. the car get unbalanced. of course this aplies when u are racing on yhe limit with other cars with an central engine position, wich is the proven best. if u are racing with yourself alone u win your own race and say ur have the best !

People like Paris Hilton buy the 458 whereas all the true drivers buy the RS. I would love to own the RS, the electronics in it don't interfere as much as the Ferraris do and I don't care if the duel clutch means the car will be faster as I prefer the manual gearbox and always will.

i wonder same say about wrong engine place of porsche ..... who say that ... ? the secret in the rear position of the car because balance .... the porsche with rear engine position gives more traction on the track .... ask yourself why porsche get the podium 29.000 times !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the porshe have the motor in a wrong place , that's why is so easy to slide. the ferrari is sure much better balanced.

@bingrasm with the engine in the back, you have better traction from a standing start and greater traction exiting a corner. It requires a different type of driving.

The 458 italia is another league both in price and performance. That said, I would rather have the GT3 RS on a track and work for every tenth of a second a lap. The GT3 RS 4.0 would be a dream track car.

@akburst510 hes faster than the Viper ACR on Nordschleife thats imba. Hes in top 5 of the production i think and the porsche have 4.0 litre or 3.8 dunno and beats cars that have double so much. beautiful :)

is he saying that the ferrari is more pratical than the porsche? wow that is one mess up stuff because ferrari is a mid engine supercar and porsche the everyday supercar..... i love the porsche gt3 rs cuz i own one but the a couple problem with the gt3 rs first the no back seat..... so mean u couldnt take friend and ur gf at the same time and 2nd the brake make alot of noise when you roll your window down to lesson to the noise of the car and u gotta brake the noise of the brake just kill ur ear

i would take a ferrari over a gt3 for its beauty and that v8 sound but i would take that gt3 over a ferrari just for that driving experience and the manual gearbox

This is not completely fair. The Ferrari is so much more expensive.
You need to get to the GT2 RS or the new GT3 RS 4.0 - then the world around the [solely] jumping horse gets blurry and weak.
