  • i enjoyed ur video .are people aloud to visit the sight were this happend or able to book a tour . wondering was the bus and the car brought back to were this happind as a memoreal sight please respond

  • Have your God Dam land back.... What the hell its just land. witch you natives don't seem to give a dam about... its seems every thing you touch just goes to shit what a dump.... Watch out for those mines and hope the buildings don't kill you...

one question why don't you cut your own dam grass you lazy a@*

  • and if you REALLY pay attention to the history of the EARTH (not just North American history in the last few hundred years) see then who was here first/where they descended from... I'm not wasting any more breath on you idiots b/c you just stick to the same topic/believe what you want to believe.. White men weren't here first I'm not saying that... But way more than a few hundred years ago, YOU WEREN'T EITHER! read a book dammit. everyone has buried ancestors we could bitch and complain about

  • geeyznucka don't be talking about my Homeland like that, Natives were here long before The White people come to Canada, The Write man stole that land from my people I have Stony Point Blood running through my vine I am A Stoney Pointer and my mom is the Chief of Kettle & Stoney Point. And Dudley Was a good friend of her's.

  • I live in Stoney Point Ipperwash, If ya know a person named David Abraham George that is my dad and I was related to "Anthony" Dudley George

  • p.s. the grammar on those signs in this video are terrible.. Or are we blaming that on the fact that ENGLISH isn't your native tongue too.. Just like taking care of property/having respect for yourselves isn't one of your favourite pastimes...

  • and a stupid cadets camp in the summer is better than a stupid vehicle dump/closed down camp that is littered with CHEAP SMOKES signs and FISH FOR SALE signs that they clearly overfish out of the lake... haha, that's not even GOOD real fish.. No ones even allowed in there really, so yeah, it would have been better off economically AND environmentally if it was being USED and not just littered... you're fuckin dumb dude...

  • Alright then lets get technical... HUMAN BEINGS were on that land EVEN before the natives, whites, whoever... (longer back than your dirty records date) .. so, should we do DNA testing worldwide and see who the TRUE OLDEST descendants are to own any north american land, and just transfer it all back to them? THAT'S a good idea, then we can ALL stop bitching, because it's not yours EITHER...=Either way... why not get a job and UPGRADE your own poor conditions.. you're a fag dude..

  • geeyznucka dude shut up lol they just need to give back the land to stony point. and if you think what im saying is stupied and i dont know what im talknig about Im a Mohawk and i know what its like to have land taken away from our people your goverment needs to give it back and i dont care if its a stupid fucking cadets camp in the summer not canadas land dude none of it is end of discussion

  • and TIMMERBIGEYES... that's not a PUN... a PUN would be if you were on the topic of PRIVATE PARTS/sexual shit, and THEN you said "I will keep my thoughts private" you talking to a cadet/army person with the private status, is NOT A PUN... CHALK UP ON YOUR ENGLISH BUDDY!

  • JuttyK are you completely retarded? they used to camp in the summer for the Cadets.. I knew Dudley and his brother Pierre is a good friend of our family.. But people need to stop being so fucking stupid... They could EASILY RE-OPEN CAMP IPPERWASH and look at the money they could be making... THERE GOES THE SO-CALLED IMPOVERISHED CONDITIONS.. open your EYES PEOPLE!!!!

  • whats this song called?

  • i love stoney, go there pretty much every summer, fucking beutiful there ,there is still army tanks way back in the dunes that are all shot up from the cadets testing their 50 Cals. R.I.P Dudley

  • Damn straight.

  • I moved because I could no longer

support my wife and two kids living there, so on that note there is still an on going injustice to this day to all of the people from Stoney Point because, the ones that are still there are living in Impoverished conditions and the ones like me who had to move and or are just waiting to finally go home.

  • Also, have you heard of a website called Army Cadet History, cause if you went there, you go on the website look um training centers and camps, then scroll down and click on Ipperwash ACSTC and you can look at photos from 1948-1993 even platoon photos

  • Though Why did this had to happen in 1993 when we could have settled some peace talks between the Gov't of canada and the Natives?

  • That is a question you must pose to your Government, not me. It is not my doing, I merely photograph, or video things, places, events.

  • @RCAC2836 If I remember my Ipperwash history, the land the base was on was leased during WWII and the residents (48?) were moved to the Kettle Point Reserve. I think the lease was renewed last around the late 1980's. It had been allowed to fall into disrepair on the assumption the lease would not be renewed. When it was, renovations were made, including a water treatment plant, to serve the DND for another few decades.

  • Maybe this made it too attractive as when the lease was violated it was a fully functional independent community that would be the envy of most other Reserves. Last time I was by there, in 2001, I had to record the red haired, blue eyed warrior guarding the gate :)

  • How come?

  • I have some questions though for you TimberBigEyes,

    1. Were you an RCAC cadet

    2. Have you heard of the army cadet

    3. Have you been to Ipperwash ACSTC

    4. Did you know Dudely George

    5. Do you miss the Ipperwash ACSTC

    6. When did you go to Ipperwash ACSTC

    if so please write back

  • Sorry, I will refrain, I wish to remain somewhat private, pardon the pun. Have a nice day. Too many threats to us for being "Indian Lovers" No thanks. I will refrain due to threats upon my life.

  • i met Dudley one summer in 90-91 my family and i went there to the campground every year from birth till well grown age any way i met Dudley one night in the dunes and myself and my older sister & group of others chilled around a fire he was a good man...I ain't down with opp

i sure miss the campground though . the army camp was never being used they should have converted it to housing and Gave it back to the natives of stoney point and that area i mean it is there land

  • I am an Army cadet from Edmonton AB, and Ipperwash wssnt the only camp that was taken, in 1998 a politician named Sheila copps took the Banff NACSTC away for no god damn reason. all thats left is an empty field. And it was by far the Jewel of all cadet camps.

  • This was Territory taken under the WMA, it was to be returned after the second world war, knowing how well our Governments keep their word, we were left to see the Native peoples seize back their land taken for war.

  • Sorry, 56th Field, 2659 Cadets. ;0)

  • Hey, I was in Charlie Company.

Seen a twister touchdown too in the middle of the Parade Square, those huge basketball nets were thrown around like wastepaper baskets.

    2659 Regiment. Artillery.

I loved it, love it less now knowing it was stolen land, and the split it caused between two communities is disheartening.

  • I spent 4 summers here as an army cadet and had no idea it was expropriated native land until all the hell broke loose. I was only like 13 when I went there for the first time.We actually had a native instructor who was the coolest, Sgt. Big Canoe (this is 1978). That dude was the best at camoflage and stealth tactics. But I would give anything to see the people who live there now that there's at least one person who feels bad they had to go through all that.

  • Have you a Website called "Army cadet History", well if you havnt, you can look at pictures of Ipperwash from 1948-1993, even platoon photos of your self in them. Just clik on training centers and camps, once you are on the web site.

  • Very judicious editing of pictures, one would think the base and park are well maintained, where the truth is it has been allowed to run down to a state of slumden. If you love your land so much maintain it in a pristine condition. Old wrecks and deralict building do not add truth to saying we honour this our land.

  • Edited my arse.

Don't make claims that you surely cannot back up. Thanks for your obvious bias.

  • eixtlent miss vido pow wow

  • Should have been kept an army base (camp). The "territory" now looks like crap. Not well maintained.... What a waste!
