I was in my late teens and far too arrogant and aloof to have anything to do with Duran Duran at the time.

I was into the jazz-funk scene and just saw them as a girlie boy band, which they were to a certain extent, but they weren't manufactured like the boy bands of today.

DD were obviously a bunch of talented musicians and song writers who wrote some fuckin bait tunes, like this one
