After watching Flanoir scene about Collette and Sheena, i freaked when i saw Flanoir scene with Genis and Regal in the suggestions. I was thinking that Lloyd turned gay or something, but this makes more sense. :D

Genis was the one who had the most affection for Llyod in the first game when I played the first game for the first time. Since I was a noob, I thought what ever happened concerning Genis was supposed to be the real ending (since the whole Mithos friends with Genis thing) and the plot started involving Genis a lot towards the end.

This may be the only time Lloyd actually refers to the original ToS's antagonist by name in this game. All the other times he just called Mithos "a friend" or something like that, at least as far as I remember.

I think that if only everyone lived by this, because personally, I just don't like it when people attempt to belittle your own problems just because of the relatively, perceived "worse" lives. What each individual person goes through is their own struggle.
